From a business point of view, I think the service could be a good idea, but only if provides service in exchange for value. What troubles me is the approach, seems weak, and it narrows the possibilities.

Hang in there. At this time is important for you to get back on your feet as soon as possible. Find a job and be there for your family.
About the foreclosure: did you talk to a lawyer? can you delay the process a little longer?.
