How do you know if you are sticking your head in the sand versus being reasonable?
>A real one, worked all the way through
i just can't with these ai-written blog posts. if i wanted to learn WebMCP through chatgpt i would have just asked chatgpt
If all the other AI companies are promising AGI by Q4 of next year, what else can you do to satisfy shareholders than also jump on that same bandwagon?
The vision of having a shared interface for all work seems pretty clear to me.
When you return the device, it needs to be in mint condition. You now have a credit obligation with Klarna, whereas on the pervious system, there was also 0% financing but it was bundled AppleCare+.
I don't think anyone will ever excercise the buyout option since the phone will never be worth more than the buyout price. And like you're saying, this program does not make sense unless you are upgrading every single year.
I mean in any case, every option looks defensible once you've accepted the premise that you need a new phone every 12 months. Any minute differences in costs are just rounding errors. Like I really don't think someone upgrading every year is going to have a significantly different retirement income because they saved $1200 every year by not buying the iphone outright. It's really just a convenience thing, not a financial decision.
So funny to me how you wasted time giving all this feedback but OP is just going to feed it into Claude and not actually read anything you said. Don't reward people that don't care about what they're building with effort, it makes the world a worse place.
>In other words, correctness, truth, cohesiveness, completeness, comprehension, etc are all essentially patterns that are mapped in this space.
The caveat is that truth in latent space is just a reflection of the consensus from the corpus, and you find truth by comparing the answer in latent space to what is in reality.
But I just hate this idea that truth and facts are no longer real, they're just "directions". The more we rely on these models for our lives, the more we lose touch with reality and are pushed and pulled in all these different directions. Feels like the future is just ai psychosis and there's no way out. Is that what complete agi victory looks like?
I can't tell if your comment is LLM generated or not. What's the point of even reading comments anymore I should just ask claude what it thinks.
Car dealerships were exempt from SB 478.
However, California's CARS Act, which took effect July 1, 2025, prohibits misrepresentations about the costs or terms of purchasing, financing, or leasing a vehicle, including the availability of vehicles at an advertised price.
Large cities are designed to get people outside, not keep them inside. A delivery raiload would take up space that could otherwise be used to transport people.
In all my side projects, instead of thinking about architecture or design decisions, I just ask it what I want the end effect to be. "I want this button to do a thing". You're saying this is good for my brain?
The 2024 prediction market had like several large bettors on the Trump side
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2024-10-25/polymarke.... The Harris side had no equivalent counter-whales. So the ~60% Trump prediction was not really reflecting reality, more-so individual conviction. A more retail-only market would likely have priced it closer to 52–55% Trump, which matches with what the pollsters and mainstream media said.
This might be possible outside the US, but in the US the internet has become reality. Trump tweets and it effects financial markets. People post on X, go viral, get hired by OpenAI. Filtering out news about institutional instability doesn't make institutions more stable, it just makes you less informed about it. And maybe one day you'll find yourself actually facing the consequences of that without knowing how you could have prevented it.
I don't know what you're advocating for. Are you saying we shouldn't have any safety restrictions on AI because we're responsible for how we use the tool? The hardcore pornography people managed to get laws put in place where you need an ID to view it, pretty much every major AI company has measures in place to do harm reduction and save the user from themselves, so to some degree society kind of agrees with the side you're aruging against.
Weird how OpenAI would spend so much money to buy a developer when developers will just be obsolete in a couple years.
For hacker news and Twitter. The agents being hooked up are basically click bait generators, posting whatever content will get engagement from humans. It's for a couple screenshots and then people forget about it. No one actually wants to spend their time reading AI slop comments that all sound the same.
