Could someone please make a small app to automate this process?
Yeah that's true. Would have liked to have that explained more clearly in the docs. There's some wrapping that gets a bit in the way and the line between the two isn't 100% clear for people not used to do web dev with rust
I have used it and it's really not up to the rails level (yet?)
It's mostly a wrapper around Axum and the link between the two is sometimes not super well documented. Coming from rails I didn't feel at home TBH. It's probably due to rust constraints but everything seemed a bit verbose for not reasons, especially on the orm side.
That being said it's an interesting effort that could become something nice with some community love
It's been a while since this one popped up.
It's surprising how many of those doodles are surviving the test if times, in the midst unexpected ways
Given the circumstances it should be enough.
That being said the logo is a fair point. It's quite frequent. That being said, even if it's frequently used it's not a proof of an organized and coordinated movement. During the various House/Senate hearings, no one was able to bring any proof (or even tried for that matter) that there's coordination between those groups for nefarious purposes or otherwise.
And the explanation is simple, there isn't. It's all in the title. They're just anti fascist groups. In France at least you just see them when there are white supremacists attacking minority groups for fun (yes it happens, saw it a few time in my engineering school). Friends of mine used to call them when white guys came to punch blacks and arabs at their parties. Outside of this, they're basically not doing anything except maybe doing tattoos on each others and writing slogans on their backpacks.
In an ideal world, the cops would do that. But they aren't doing it in any effective capacity.
It's a bit horrendous that countries which went to war against fascism now treat anti fascism as suspicious or even dangerous, especially when the number of physical attacks against minorities are rising back up.
It's not antifa groups baiting gay people on grindr to beam them up. Yes, it's a thing, and yes it's "alt-right" people. But who cares, the orange president said they were fine people...
The french government is planning its move to Linux, so there's that
Calling themselves antifa is the same as calling themselves left wing. It's not an organization per se and it IS an hand wavy word used by american fascists to describe their enemies.
That's a public service that should serve everyone, no ?
I didn't know about the fines and can't find a lot of details online. It seems meta got fined for something else, but it was about 1B, which is less than 1% of their revenue.
I think the smaller companies or individual which did stuff like that got their life ruined. The pirate bay admin got fined multiple millions of dollars.
So if I agree it's not a "free pass", it's still a cheap pass many others didn't get.
Makes me realize how, as mentioned by other comments, copyright laws are a tool for the powerful to oppress others rather than an actual universal right.
I do agree, but I still feel angry to see how it's playing out on this specific topic
I don't think it's about becoming copyright zealot. What angers me in there is the blatant inequality.
People are in jail or got heavy fines for opening torrent or steaming sites. But "Open"AI and others got a free pass because they're big corps.
As mentioned in the article, we heavy in Europe a good source of shade that's rather self sustaining and even helps replace the concrete lining of the canals.
It's a wonderful technology called trees
I'm doing the same with a context of about 128-150k Surprisingly, I get subjectively better results with Unsloth's 3 bit quants (UD-Q3-XL something), than their 4 bit quants (S or M)
That's going to create a lot less trouble the next time they have to do a round of layoffs to increase efficiency or whatever fancy BS they'll invent next time ^-^
The joy of a world with a duopoly reigning over a strategic core market
We're really into the South Park cliché: Anal douche or Shit Sandwich.
I wish regulators across the world did something about this, but even Europe shy attempts aren't moving the market in a better direction.
It's depressing to see a company that thrived from the open internet becoming such an evil piece of cyberpunk lore. I mean... Nobody really expected Apple to care about anything else than its bottom line. But I'm not alone to have had hopes about Google.
When I die, I think not fighting Google when it was still time will be one of the regrets I'll drag into my grave.
Thank you for posting this <3. I've been thinking it daily for about a year and feel a little bit less alone.
I understand this is a significant topic in the industry but the ratio is really high. Every time someone at OpenAI or Anthropic farts, there's top 10 post.
It makes me feel as if a lot of hackers had given up on actual hacking to just be followers of the latest commercial stuff thrown on the market.
It's likely a projection of my own fears, but I have not been able to shake it off and it's gotten worse and worse.
Would you mind elaborating a bit on your process ? Or share a few relevant exchanges, I've no clue how to start having this discussion.
That would make a great blog post
Nobody forced you to sell your soul. You made a pact with the devil. We all know how this ends up
While I was reading the top level message I was thinking on something wrong those lines. That being said I think it's somewhat useful to be able to see the reasoning in a meaningful format. There's already enough hidden layers of unfathomable meaning.
What if instead of a latent they used at a shorter form of note-taking-like reasoning, using more symbol to achieve a denser CoT. We'd get the best of both worlds. WDYT ?
I've been experimenting with a few settings in my 4090 , and if 3.6 run at 90-110 tps, 3.8 staya below 80 tps and it's most often at 60 tps.
I'm using flash attention, mtp speculative decoding (n=2). I've looked at the club-3090 repo, but haven't found anything meaningful but get back to 3.6 performance
That was pretty darn fast :) I'm curious whether they got a headstart or if they're that reactive
The people that were sampled were probably already affected by the indoor exposure. I don't think it affects the validity of this study
Yeah it's a llama.cpp fork and it's linked everywhere on their repo
How is this relevant ? We're talking about open source analytics, and this looks like a shameless plus
I'm genuinely flabbergasted to read this here.
There's no possible comparison between Musk and Mamdani's gestures, at least from the perspective of someone who grew up in a region occupied by the Nazis during the war and had him grand parents deported.
Regarding EU politician support, it's really not what you describe. The politicians he's been supporting are the ones in the rightmost spectrum of the political chessboard in each case I've witnessed. There isn't a car I've witnessed where he supported someone center right, or left.
These false equivalences are dangerous.
We don't have a lot of choices right now, especially regarding banking apps :'(
Fwiw it's also linked in the article, so it's not exactly a surprise :)
I started switching to DDG on some devices, this will motivate me to finish the transition ! Thanks
I'm sorely disappointed by gitlab, I was hoping they would be a safe harbor against this whole AI bullshit typhoon.
