Re:WTF Ubuntu? on Monday November 02, 2026 @04:41PM (#50344208)
+1, switched to Debian with 13 since it got plasma 6 earlier. Much better experience- no snaps, gnu utils, stable. It's everything I want from the OS.
They are busy migrating to rust, ubuntu will be safe soon, don't worry anyone!

Re:Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5 on Wednesday October 28, 2026 @03:41AM (#50270329)
It is embarrassing how much they suck up to american labs while those models only perform the first few days after release. With open weights you can be sure the quality stays the same unlike the closed source crap. How about a retest after some time?
My issue with anthropic and openai is that if I use a model like e.g. Sonnet 5 I don't always get full Sonnet 5, sometimes it's dumber, sometimes it is smarter (mostly dumber though), while GLM, Kimi and others stay the same. So if I rely on AI for things I better make sure the platform is stable and does not introduce hidden changes.

Why is opus 5.5 suddenly a lot dumber? Who knows.

I mean it was a great anticheat tool even back in the day, still no clue why they closed down. New battlefield or call of duty wouldnt need kernel anticheats.
