So this is like installing codex and then using remote on chatgpt app? Niche AF. But you rent the computah from meta?

This is a very smart messaging. Approved.
Re:When Feature Flags Do and Don't Make Sense on Saturday August 08, 2026 @10:33PM (#49227882)
I liked the article. Every feature flag contributes to hockey stick growth of version variations of your software.

1 feature flag = 2 behaviors 2 feature flags = 4 behaviors

So cognitive overload is unavoidable after feature flags 5 as you have so many permutations.

Re:An Update on Heroku on Friday February 06, 2026 @04:37PM (#46918473)
Do you care to show prices? The true benefit of heroku for me was really predictable pricing model. Build.io website doesn’t have it on mobile site at all. I don’t want to look at demo, i want to hook up my credit card, set a monthly budget and explore
Although bright ideas may be found in this post, anthropomorphisms of LLM agents turns me away from reading.
On the contrary I enjoyed this human touch in the text.
Re:Talking to LLMs has improved my thinking on Friday January 23, 2026 @01:02AM (#46728947)
I guess it depends on how people interact with LLM. Cognitive debt may be acquired when people `talk` with machines, asking personal questions, like asking what to answer to the sms from a friend, etc.

It may seem different when people `command` LLMs to do particular actions. At the end, this community, most of all probably, understands that LLM is nothing else than advanced auto-complete with natural language interface instead of Bash.

When a person needs to add trials to the existing billing.

The latter will result a deterministic code after (many) prompts that a person will be able to validate for correctness (another question if they will though).

I had very similar experience with my disabled organization on another provider. After 3 hours of my script sending commands to gemini-cli for execution i got disabled and then in 2 days my gmail was disabled. Good thing that it was disposable account, not the primary one.
Is Murat suggesting that thinking equals predicting the next token or is this just fiction to read?
Re:Nabokov's guide to foreigners learning Russian on Wednesday December 24, 2025 @01:12PM (#46377811)
So if Ukrainian is not your home language why didn’t you move home where Russian is your home language?
Re:Nabokov's guide to foreigners learning Russian on Wednesday December 24, 2025 @01:06AM (#46372930)
Exactly that gives ruskies propaganda talking points to invade Ukraine by saying they don’t like how Ukrainians treated russian speakers.

British King isn’t delusional enough to start war with neighboring English speaking country.

Coding agents that you are building should get the link to this post and build everything mentioned.

That’s the reason i stay away and keep my customers away from SPAs. Good ole html forms do the trick for 99.95% use cases.

The article shows the DOGE miserable savings and gives the alternative for government to earn more by taxing stuff. Government capitalism makes socialism i guess.

Passes on every undeclared dependency that is available locally but would render the official artifact unusable.
China could broaden the message to “tells anyone to o avoid U.S. travel...” and that would be right thing to do because of the far-right happening here now.
Re:400 reasons to not use Microsoft Azure on Friday February 28, 2025 @11:28PM (#43215900)
I’m running two k8s clusters with 6vcpus and 12 gb of memory each and when we got the quote from Azure it wasn’t pretty. The managed pg was a deal breaker for us. P.s.: side gig with 1qps on eu cluster and way less in US. P.P.S.: happy Digital Ocean customer

Python deps are alright unless you’re updating celery.
Tl;dr: 4/5 stars for hobbit software SaaS.

—————

Full version: I run it on a dedicated machine 2vcpu2gb on digital ocean. Every tenant has an index and i have like 30k searches per week across all tenants. Each tenant has from 1 to 150k documents in their index. Sentry catches MeilisearchTimeoutException couple times every day with the message that Meilisearch could not finish adding document to index. I don’t care too much about that because background worker is responsible for updating index, so that tasks gets rescheduled. I like to keep my sentry clean, so it’s more an inconvenience than the issue. Meilisearch setup is very straightforward, they provide client libraries for almost all languages (maybe even for esoteric and marginal, idk, i only need python), have pretty decent documentation covering the basics and don’t really require operations at my scale. I really liked the feature of issuing the limited access tokens to be able to set the pre condition. That’s how i limit the searches for particular user on the tenant to see only their data.

How is it different from Meilisearch[1]? I’m running search for my small multi tenant SaaS and self hosted Meilisearch gives me grief like any relatively new tech, so I’m shopping for new solutions.

Git commit sha produces a good enough version for most software.
Just connect the device and got it going. Wonderful experience. Thanks for the great product

The worst part that there are politicians that do not care if you scrutinize them or not. In a majority of nations on the planet.
I’m not sure it’s polite or technically correct to put “autopilot” and “works” in the same sentence.
