Evidence isn't really the issue here. We're not trying to answer a definitive question here of whether or not there have been advanced civilizations.
We're trying to reason our way into a statement of probability. Just because it isn't currently provable doesn't mean it isn't a question worth investigating.

7 years ago was 2009. var, lambdas, and linq were already in pretty heavy use by then. The biggest change since then is the dynamic language runtime, but I don't really see that used much in c#.

This is not machine assembly. Its bytecode, everything still lives in the browser sandbox.

No, but Morning Light Mountain was in it. It was built by Anomine to protect the universe from the prime.

It's coming soon. The aspnet team demoed coreclr debugging in VSCode earlier this week. It was all done on nightlys, but it worked.
But honestly, since these are all extensions, I don't see any reason 1.0 would need to be tied to these features.

It sure doesn't sound like it. It's hard to blame someone else for your problems just because they have more self esteem than you. Regardless of whether it's deserved.
Re:Microsoft Acquires Xamarin

That doesn't apply here. This is a strategic purchase for Microsoft. They have no competing technology. That was in reference to standards. Microsoft wanted to turn open standards into proprietary standards to drive people toward their products.

If you look at the prequels vs a new hope, the same could be said about Luke.
I think the answer there is that Luke is more force sensitive than any Jedi of the past, making his training to get to the same level minimal.
And maybe we're seeing the same thing with Rey.

It's not the physical characteristics that matter. It's the diversity of experience. In our culture there is certainly a difference based on color. Although I agree that it's much more than just that. Economic background is another huge difference in experience that you can't see.

Racism toward the people in power can't exist, is the usual argument. But ultimately I can't see how this helps the cause. They are brow beating the only people that are trying.
