Genuine question, since I'm not very knowledgeable about this: why is using C for a PDF tool such a bad idea?

Are you illiterate? Don't you know what “I guess” means??
The call is coming from inside the house, buddy.
“Visually impaired” isn’t really a euphemism for “blind.” It’s a broader term that can include people with different degrees of vision loss, including people who are partially sighted and people who are blind. So in this context, the article is using the term pretty normally.
Also, wearing glasses doesn’t automatically make someone visually impaired. If your vision is fully corrected with glasses or contacts, you generally wouldn’t be considered visually impaired. The term usually refers to vision loss that remains even with the best available correction.
In my opinion, you’ve got the situation backwards. The people who see it as “just a job” are the ones who like AI because they just want to get the work done and get paid. The people who genuinely enjoy solving problems, on the other hand, don’t like AI because it takes away the problem-solving part of the job.

That's worthless.

Both. The post is about Shopify, but some of the comments expanded the conversation to include Spotify as well.

i'm ok with that

nobody cares
Is that how you got into this state?

why?

Then how did you not see that coming?
He could have said a myriad of things, but he chose to say that, and what he chose to say isn’t incorrect.

He’s basically saying Uber is much bigger than it was 5+ years ago. Revenue almost tripled, and the company added a lot more products, people, and complexity. “Orders of magnitude” here just means “a lot,” not literally 10x or 100x.

"Fuck off"
> How would you persuade them to your own viewpoint?
I wouldn't. I don't care about them.

Fuck off!!!
I can’t speak for everyone, but for me, it just works. I’ve never had any of the issues people are mentioning in this thread. The app isn’t slow or buggy for me, I’ve never had artists I listen to disappear from my playlists, and I can find pretty much every song I want to listen to. Most people I know use Spotify too, so sharing stuff is just a little more convenient.
I never said it was a problem.
> I've never been the kind of coder
Looks like you were never really a coder, to be honest.
Incredible how much of an audience you can get by just being pro "the latest hype"
