I have friends who work in law and it's much the same as elsewhere, AI is devouring the jobs doing the easy stuff. It probably is an area where LLMs should dominate.
- practical advice on deleting accounts
- don't recommend going straight to authority levels
- try to avoid legal discussion as much as possible
Yeah, sounds good to me.
We can't trust current LLMs to surgically discuss legal nuance while not giving legal advice. Far better to just say, don't talk about all of this.
Determinable for a code base, with enough tokens.
> The private trackers I've heard of are not open… From what I understand they also maintain ratios and seeders race to get credit for newly uploaded files. Its the 2026 version of the 90s warez courier scene
TBF this isn’t a revival of some arch 90s thing, this is just how private trackers have been. What was the same in the aughts, for instance.
Oh wow, my bluff has been called. Boy do I have egg on my face. How can I subscribe to your newsletter of these old fashioned anecdotes of the distant aughts? Do you actually have gray hairs? Do you remember what malls were? Hey, I heard someone mention Heelys, were those real?
Time was, you took them back to the store.
Amazon does not equally crush it with returns as you may discover when facing issues with things like televisions or expensive clothing
The claim:
> Ukraine Is Successfully Bombing the Heart of Russia's Disinformation Machine
Proof from within TFA:
> Yandex is the Kremlin’s information machine. It answers about 70% of search queries in Russia
> The director of Yandex News resigned in 2022 and called the company “a key element in concealing information” about the war
> the assistant inside Yandex Browser, which has 71 million monthly users, in a 2026 study by the research group Policy Genome found Alice endorsed Kremlin narratives in 86% of its Russian-language answers
> Cloudflare, the internet security company that fronts a large share of the world’s websites, measured automated requests from Yandex’s network at 0.4% of their two-week peak after the Vladimir strike
So, it’s used by most people in Russia, it regurgitates disinformation, and the attack seems to have depressed its use.
Sounds good to me - what are you missing?
The writing was great and the comments were so good. There would be hundred of people trying to guess what the next episode of
Mad Men was going to be about and people picked up on tiny little period details.
Unfortunately they were removed and I don't believe they were archived anywhere :(

Folks say cigarette companies are covering up that cigarettes cause cancer but the Tobacco Institute scientists I've met are funny, charming, and boy can they cook.
I know it's easy to think "Hey, what a dummy!" - but ChatGPT has features for uploading your face, your Apple Health data, connecting your financial accounts, Gmail, storing website logins...
There are probably so many people like this out there. We cannot expect the public to simply not use these features.
Did you or your self-driving car that you instructed to take you home plow through that sweet old lady
You feel that greater attention is typically paid online to undramatic things?
Or perhaps more like OpenAI called in a bomb threat against the mathematician building and someone had to go see if it was just a Snapple bottle
You’re a hero. So glad I complained. Why would they not just keep this working with the main text box focused…
I've never seen it mentioned anywhere so I will just here complain that Google also removed the ability to paste images into Google Image search some years ago for no apparent reason. It worked great and I used it all the time.
“Vanilla Bean Coolatta® - Large“ is 167g total sugar. “Caramel Swirl Frozen Chocolate -
Large” is 165g. Add an extra pump of mocha and you’re there.
He will go the same way as Colbert and we will be told no one watched him
Try to square Bari Weiss’ continued presence with a want for CBS to do well. Expect similar treatment for CNN.
For one, to remove network RTT
> Down the line there is a state nature will be in
Nature is in a state at every point of time. This not-especially-useful perspective means there’s nothing to bounce back from.
It reminds me of clever people tut-tutting when talking about an apocalypse. “Ah, but the planet will still be here!”
[1] was a lot crazier than I was expecting and I read the whole thing. I’m glad you didn’t have to face any serious repercussions.
Or a Tippett HN username, who’d want that
Who will be Russia’s Li Wenliang
What did your momma tell you about running into the street?
Cars are inherently dangerous. They’ll still be dangerous when computers are driving them all.
