Is there something like this for Twitter?
So just fill your skin with this ink and use a laser to print any pattern.
Looking forward to see human ads
Why didn't the manufacturer invent this themselves?
I have a laptop with soldered RAM.
The motherboard upgrade to a 16GB variant was 120 EUR. Same price as the RAM soldered on it.
It came with a CPU upgrade as well. I'm happy.
I currently have a setup with a Raspberry Pi (alpine+pipewire+dac) to stream audio over the network.
This enables me the watch video with no latency problems, because it's embedded in the audio stack (buffered). That's why I was wondering which problem gets solved with this project.
But now I understand that this is for concerts not for some audiophile multi room setup.
Gather those ads, index them. Offer them as a subscription. Profit..?
Very cool. However, I think I'm missing the usecase.
It needs a separate LAN, so basically it's audio over CAT6?
Don't get me wrong, I'm genuinely trying to understand.
How does this compare to pipewire over ethernet? Is it realtime vs buffered?
Don't you think a robot can fix your toilet as well?
Why are meta glasses such a big deal? Because they need training data for manual labor.
Never assume malicious intent when incompetence.
I have multiple devices that queries their update server every 15 seconds, which all shows up as the top 10 queried domain in my network.
I use a voyage as well. Wish it had USB-C, because that's the only device I use regularly that still has micro USB.
Apart from that it's great, books won't get any better with an upgraded ereader.
So, like Lineage.
I still rock my CyanogenMod
> The EU mandates the 2FA method shows information about the purchase you're authenticating (timestamp, amount and cc used in my case), making unconnected dongles impossible to use.
There are unconnected photoTAN devices that support this. They have a camera that reads a QR code. Some European banks use this. E.g. Vasco digipass 770
I worked on this before.
You can solve the privacy issue using "statistical payments", by lack of a better word.
You visit website A,A,A,B,C,D,A,A
At the end of the month, you send your entire 20$ randomly to one of the websites you visited.
This will level out everyone's contribution and reward websites with lots of traffic. It eliminates the need for micropayments.
Why are plasma displays being used? I would expect they would burn in rapidly.
I think Qdenga was approved in India very recently.
Isn't this a matter of regulation? I'm not sure about US, but in EU you have old houses/buildings that are protected. Sure, you can buy them, but you can't modify or destroy them (being cultural heritage).
> Do propery owners and travelers really care that much about the app?
There is a threshold how bad it can be. With airbnb they happen to exceed that threshold.
Their website is so bloated that I cannot use it on Firefox mobile. It simply did not load within 60 seconds.
Sorry, don't blame me for spending my money somewhere else.

Why have I been blocked?

Thank you, from Vietnam.
Other sites are blocking VPN's as well. It's a contineous hassle of turning VPN on and off.
It feels like you are a third class citizen.
I would perform a chargeback if I paid for a window seat.
Offices, maybe.
Photography, not at all. Some photographers prefer inkjet over minilab.
How do I compare the peering capabilities of different ISP's? Assuming tier 1 ISP's are not available in my geographic location.
I don't care about fancy numbers, I care about high quality peering.
I'd rather have a stable 50Mbit than 1Gbit and 0.5Mbit international peering with packet loss.
Android private DNS does not support alternate paths, alternative ports or basic http authentication.
It's easy to dress up warm.
I think it's mostly about costs, not climate.
Could you elaborate on the DPI? Are VPN's banned or only specific VPN traffic.
Yes I meant to reply to someone else. My bad.
I think we need one brave country to ban IPv4.
We are missing out on so much network innovation due to the lack of IPv6 support. This innovation is increasingly needed to become less dependent on big tech.
Isn't it amazing that we have platform independent technology that allows you to call someone _on their IP address_? Or have someone start selling delivery pizza's independently by running an app that listens on port 80? What about a garage door opener that responds within 30ms instead of going through several cloud services first?
Not until we have a 100% IPv6 adoption rate!
Mine doesn't remember the last opened books when the date isn't correct. Unfortunately you cannot set the date manually.
