What are the alternatives besides the IA?
I use jellyfin remotely with tailscale. It was trivial to set up. There's probably a dozen other holepunching mesh VPN approaches that would also work. Not to mention Iroh is in the mix now too.
You would think the administration would champion these efforts, even continue or expand subsidies for it and other things like EVs. Instead they seem to be doing most of what they can in their power to quash green energy.
AfD, whose internal emails were leaked for all the world to see who they really are?
The administration has had years and the entire federal legal apparatus at its disposal to prove anything untoward occurred in 2020. Where is that?

Bleak that this is the default.
How is this different from Jellyfin?
Andor was good, but let's not kid ourselves that it's in that same stratum of television greats.
That's not the entire story and anyone who has done their diligence on it knows this.
My casual read is that the CCP can tolerate both the far left and right in the US, but only the far right is near the levers of power, and the far right is apt to leave them alone entirely(America first).
These aren't mutually exclusive
Karp's takes and changes in tune are... depressing.

A great explainer, but I can't help but notice all the claude-isms in his dialogue now.
It's less a masterstroke of the rich, and more the media environment the various voter blocs you mentioned are soaking their minds in 24/7
The difference in the replies to this comment are striking.

One is a relatively complicated workflow producing 3D assets, the other is "just give pictures to chatgpt and tell it what you want".

Honestly they're all pretty impressive!

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's only a matter of time. Surely the models, when well directed, can get most or all of the way there in short order.
I mean, its certainly physical infrastructure that can run away. Just less catastrophic than nuclear reactors
So ask them to fix the problems in a targeted way.
Re:Does Georgism Work? Five Years Later on Sunday September 27, 2026 @03:11AM (#49864143)
The idea is to encourage more efficient use of land. In urban areas of the US that usually means more density since they aren't actually all that dense(the oft cited example being surface parking lots in downtown areas, this isn't a very efficient use). There's a lot of other baggage to make that work well, imk - better infrastructure and transit come to mind.

When people really understand what Meta glasses etc are, they generally don't pick "this is the future I want".

A non-slop and non-freemium variant:

People would generally oppose all such devices if they had a real picture of what's going on.

Correct, and nothing wrong with that.

What you're doing is shameful.
https://messages.google.com/web/ is one way I'm aware of, I'm sure there's others depending on the messages app used.

This sounds completely reasonable:

The A1s/As minis are dead cheap. I don't know if you'll find anything much better for a competitive price, frankly.

To be clear for anyone else reading: those are the official options. But there are plenty of alternatives that allow for using a Bambu remotely. It just won't be quite as polished an experience as finding a model in Handy and hitting print.
