Re:FreeCAD is an open-source parametric 3D modeler on Friday February 20, 2026 @01:38AM (#47084529)
Spent hours and hours learning how to use it to draw a part. Got it done, but then didn't use it for a long time. Next time, couldn't remember how.

Finding Cadquery less of a hurdle for casual use. Wish I could run it from Termux though.

Life without parole. Letting them out when they are elderly. What do they do for care?

Re:What Did Medieval Peasants Know? (2022) on Sunday November 16, 2025 @11:43PM (#45950895)
This seems relevant to the topic:

Collections: Life, Work, Death and the Peasant, Part V: Life In Cycles – A Collection of Unmitigated Pedantry https://acoup.blog/2025/10/17/collections-life-work-death-an...?

Five parts. This, the last gives a sense of what life was like.

I guess most people imagining those days think they'd be amongst the rich nobility, not in the peasant class.

There'd be few today that would want to go back to life at that time.

I agree. Waiting to see for how long. Has to be 24 hours at a minimum I'd guess.

Ask the homeless about their mail address.

Not having a physical address is a huge problem.
