We are currently using and enhancing testx. This does use the advantage of Excel and protractor. It's open source and available on github : https://github.com/greyarch/testx

And that is exactly why this doesn't make sense at all... it's just not possible to code it with these few lines.

problem is: you cannot use it for both server and client. if this were true you would've been right. with node.js you still need to be aware if you're coding client or serverside for some constructs.
