I was a shut-in for a few years and lack of money is one of the biggest obstacles to get out of that situation. You want to take a welding class? You need money. You want to take an online class? You need money. Keeping friends and getting a partner without money is extremely hard as you need money to do most social things.

Despite that, I think a straight up cash allowance is the wrong approach. Only thing that helped me was getting a job so maybe some kind of jobs program would be better, in my opinion. It will help some people improve their lives so if a similar program were to be implemented where I live I wouldn't oppose but it will allow others to dig their roots even deeper into misery.

A debrid service allows you to bypass the download limits of file-sharing websites (like 4shared, MEGA, etc.) without needing to have an premium account on each website.

They also provide functionally similar to seedboxes were they download torrents and then you download them directly from their servers. A lot of torrents are cached already (someone tried to download them already) and that's the functionality that's useful for Kodi or Stremio streaming as it allows you to stream media easily.

Stremio + torrentio + a debrid service (Real-Debrid, Premiumize, AllDebrid, etc.) is almost perfect for what you're asking. There's no personalized recommendation algorithm but you can scroll trough several categories/genres or even install/make your own add-ons for that.

I'm a CS student at UoPeople so if you have any questions, you should let me know. I believe it's pretty good, you can see the textbooks that we use here:

You can check its accreditation here: https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/institution-profile/233675

Thank you, this is a great resource. Looks like there's additional material for independent learners and even some Youtube video lectures:

You could record some video lectures and write exercises/instructions for them and put up a link to Gumroad (or any other similar service) on your website.
