I can't believe the shuttle chased down a satellite to fix it in five spacewalks. How many satellites have had service missions like this?

I use this to search for transactions in my bank transaction history for taxes. Very useful!
I do. But I did it on purpose, also switched my 'a's to look typewritten, I did it when I was handwriting my college essays.
Tangentially, I recently played the tetris theme on a stepper motor. https://twitter.com/alana31415/status/1389886733769007108

I appreciated whomever burned a dependabot alert.
Re:My Eight-Year Quest to Digitize 45 Videotapes on Wednesday October 21, 2020 @12:26AM (#24844733)
This was a great read. Maybe slightly overengineered but I really liked the writing style, I read both parts.
I happen to be taking magnesium for headaches and vitamin D because I'm deficient. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for making f.lux and picasa!
FWIW I tried using the command line utility isightcapture on my 2019 macbook, and the LED turned on for 4-5 seconds and I got a dialog asking if I wanted to allow access to the camera. So this seems to be true. I still have a camera cover though
I wonder if iOS is ever going to catch up, I'm still waiting for them to implement getFloatTimeDomainData(). https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/AnalyserNod...
Didn't Benjamin Franklin sleep at his desk with a stick propped under his elbow, so when the stick fell out he would invent stuff? I remember hearing that somewhere but now I can't find it
I'm in this age group and have lots of debt. I'm also an entrepreneur that can't attend accelerators or forgo a salary for a couple years because of said debt. It feels like startups are for rich people.

Same. Just followed Michael on youtube.
This is pretty amazing. Did not expect video and mouse control to work. For brew and iTerm2 I did have to use CTRL instead of command though.
This is why film music is a thing!
Re:Deep packet inspection is dead, and here's why (2017) on Tuesday January 15, 2019 @02:23PM (#18914052)
This sent me on a spiral of checking for MITM connections on my machine. You can compare the fingerprints of known sites with this list on this site: https://www.grc.com/fingerprints.htm Though I think the facebook one is wrong (the one I see starts with BD 25 8C for SHA-1)
I'm an amazon merch seller. Less risk but still crazy rules. I had a successful shirt, then copycats sold my shirt for less. I made a complaint to take down their shirt, and amazon took down my shirt instead. No matter how many times I email them they won't undo that.

Re:Chess boxing on Tuesday May 15, 2018 @03:49PM (#17077212)
I thought I might be good at chessboxing until I saw the champion. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/84863-World-Chess-...
Cool but only for up to 8 minute videos. Unless you found a way to parallelize the lambda tasks.
Re:WebGPU demos on Friday January 19, 2018 @12:24PM (#16187940)
This works great in safari, which makes me wonder why they're doing this at all
Re:Exploiting the Wi-Fi Stack on Apple Devices on Friday September 29, 2017 @06:09PM (#15369678)
That article says exactly what coleca was saying?
Yeah parallels does this too. I feel mixed about it. Native Instruments and MOTU tend to make their software compatible for many years after you purchase them, which I appreciate. But it does take development time to make them compatible with new OS versions. Paying for a $40 upgrade every year seems excessive, but I'd prefer it to a monthly subscription model like Adobe and Microsoft have done.
Can't law enforcement follow the transactions of the public address of the ransom bitcoin wallet until the bitcoin is sold?
