How will UBI become any less convoluted than taxes are?
They always think they will be king of the hill.
It's not just prompt, it's also which model, effort, time of day, fast/flex, etc. This is why people have such different experiences.
Justifications don't change the ground reality: more ads are coming.
The wealthy love to claim that we have a meritocracy.
Yep, perhaps turning off the feature doesn't stop the data from being parsed.
Besides, aren't C-levels usually the ones that justify their huge compensation by claiming that they deserve it because they take the big risks?
Honestly, who cares at this point?
The slop announcements are getting more annoying than the slop.
I used to be an idealist, and looking back at them now I realize it was a waste of time and energy.
I once had to work on a project where my employer signed a contract with a client to have *no bugs* in the delivered software. The massive burnout that resulted in trying to accomplish that ideal taught me to prioritize practicality over idealism.
Cheap inference from foreign countries is bad.
Cheap labor from foreign countries is good.
Can anyone explain how this is not hypocrisy?
What about tools used to make the game? Can they be AI products? What about tools that lint human made code? What if your paint program contains some AI-generated plugins, does that disqualify your game?
What if your music mixer uses an open source library that depends on a math library produced by an author who has an AI image as an avatar on social media?
Anyone who demands purity in all things should have their values questioned. Just look at history for examples of the outcomes of people obsessed with purity.
Why aren't the police required to carry liability insurance like doctors?
I remember being told by a teacher in grade school that our country (usa) doesn't produce propaganda. Only other countries do that.
> I'm sure they can make it look like Sunny Balwani was the guy in charge
Nope. He's barely even in the film. It's not a normal documentary.
Apology ads are the bees knees these days, so that checks out.
You'll want to keep a copy archived for reverse engineering if/when Google decides to prevent these "loopholes".
Seems like a practical use would be rapid stopping or cushioning a collision.
What is this wonderful "autonomous delivery vehicle" capable of delivering?
Also, assuming the delivery vehicle is destroyed at the end of each "delivery", what will it cost?
Great, now how about putting some of those amazing engineering brain cells into solving the impending water crisis.
Hard to have wonder about billionaire toys when I have to choose between medicine and food.
>I went through this Ford engine plant about three years ago, when they first opened it.
> There are acres and acres of machines, and here and there you will find a worker standing at a master switchboard, just watching, green and yellow lights blinking off and on, which tell the worker what is happening in the machine.
>One of the management people, with a slightly gleeful tone in his voice said to me, “How are you going to collect union dues from all these machines?”
>And I replied, “You know, that is not what’s bothering me. I’m troubled by the problem of how to sell automobiles to these machines

However, Bsky people really hate AI last I checked.
I don't see any theft in that article. Who was deprived of what property? Why didn't they make backups?
> I'm not afraid
So how do you plan to maintain food, clothing and shelter when you have no leverage?
Great, I'll just eat good intentions, wear a smile, and live under happy thoughts. I'm 50, so I'm "cooked" as far as contemporary society is concerned.
It's the result of going public. Once a company even dips their toe in that water, it's over for any priority but one.
Isn't one of the main limitations to more open mobile platforms due to opaque drivers? The very recent trends in reverse engineering might provide some solutions to that.
> When confronted
Do you realize that asking "why" questions will always result in ad hoc responses?
You don't think that Opus 5.5 or Astra are any better or more capable than GPT-4?
Sorry, but that's completely delusional.
My car also degenerates exponentially if I forget to change the oil periodically.
I e., a responsible developer who cares about quality will have to get their hands a little dirty with some maintenance now and then.
