I work for DigitalOcean.

We would not shut you down.

Only gray situation is if you are flooding; amazon will send you a [bandwidth] bill, we send you a ticket

Regarding DigitalOcean -- they would NOT frown on it

if you go over your usage, you are charged 0.02 cents per gigabyte over your limit

if you stay within your usage, nothing happens

(note, as of right now, there is no charges for overages. until your bandwidth transfer stats are available on the control panel, there will be no overage charges)

Re:Ask HN: Please Review My Project (JS Game Engine) on Wednesday December 09, 2009 @02:57PM (#986448)
great system!

we need to get rid of flash already and replace it with something that does not destroy resources

how about the multiplayer aspects of games? have you any ideas about developing this?

I am very interested in competitive games where we can play versus others in the same js style environment.

Re:Google Public DNS on Thursday December 03, 2009 @10:42PM (#975745)
funny enough, I get an average of 8ms ping from 8.8.8.8 (9 hops) from my co-lo server

quite happy with that

Re:4.3.2.1 -- Another google DNS ip on Thursday December 03, 2009 @07:26PM (#975514)
4.2.2.2 is still easier to type since you dont need to move your fingers at all

problem with 8.8.8.8 is you have to use the right hand to type it
