RubyLLM is great! Been a very happy user for awhile now :)
Re:No Calls on Thursday January 16, 2025 @10:19PM (#42733736)
I’m a CTO as well and never get on these types of calls to get more details and pricing since they can be such a big waste of time. Someone else from our organization will get on the call instead and then give me the pricing details so we can make a decision.

There is a beta feature you can enable to shutdown any open tunnel from the dashboard. It’s under tunnel agent, status.

I use this every day because I always forget to shut down the agent on my home computer before going to the office.

Re:Kill the Alarm Clock (2017) on Wednesday February 17, 2021 @03:07PM (#26170999)
Thanks to the kids switching to virtual school, I’ve only had to set an alarm a handful of times. It’s truly wonderful, not looking forward to having to wake up to an alarm everyday again next year.

The new site looks great. Best of luck!
I started my web hosting business while working full time and going to grad school part time in 2005. I worked on it nights and weekends and tried to incorporate it into my grad school projects.

I was able to leave my full time job and go all in on my own business about a year later and have been self employed ever since.

It just takes a lot of patience, motivation and a willingness to give up some of your free time.

He also extracted the tech to build his next product, slip.so which should generate some nice revenue for him as well.
Re:AlmaLinux an open-source RHEL fork on Tuesday January 12, 2021 @04:32PM (#25754071)
This is great news, we have been using CloudLinux and Kernel Care at my web hosting company for many years and they are great products. These guys know what they are doing and I trust this distro will be well supported.

I love the new landing page, so awesome!
Smart move, I’ve got 4 kids and my 2 and 4 year old watch shows on Disney plus everyday and then want all the toys that go along with them. They for sure make money off of my family!
Re:DigitalOcean App Platform on Tuesday October 06, 2020 @06:54PM (#24703372)
I use cloud66, it works great!
This is awesome, thanks for sharing! Sidekiq works well for me but it’s good to have an option that doesn’t require Redis.
You are not the only one, it tooks me weeks to get an account setup, I kept getting the same error message as you even after trying multiple good credit cards.

After contacting support several times, we were finally able to get me signed up by enrolling via the iOS developer app.

It was a very painful, time wasting process!

I rent an office two minutes from my home and it’s been a huge productivity boost for me since switching from my dedicated office at home.

You also receive the normal commission for each sale, this is an added bonus.
Re:I Just Want a Dumb TV on Tuesday July 30, 2013 @07:54PM (#6130925)
I agree, I have an LG smart tv but never use the streaming apps because they aren't that great. The interface/experience on Roku and Apple TV is so much better.
Re:RubyWarrior - Bloc on Saturday July 27, 2013 @05:13PM (#6114454)
This is awesome, glad to see I can put my ruby skills to good use playing a game!
