Re:Show HN: Improved My News App, Would Love Feedback on Friday January 12, 2018 @08:59PM (#16137841)
It feels more like a news site than the first iteration. Is there a reason why you're set on having this being a JavaScript app? AMP seems to be pretty popular for news ATM, and that's kind of the opposite approach. Curious what your thinking is.

The bullet points summarization stuff is great. That's what I always look for on Reddit posts.

Heya campingalert,

I went here: https://www.leads-daily.com/about -- to find more information. I got a 404. Womp womp.

I'd definitely like to know more about what you're doing and if it'd be helpful to me.

Happy Friday.

Re:Show HN: The Top Websites of 2018 on Friday January 12, 2018 @07:46PM (#16137573)
Hey, this looked really interesting to me. But I went to https://statvoo.com/page/statvoo-rating-system -- to check out how the ranking system works, and it doesn't seem like it gives much information. Care to explain it a little more in depth?

I like the idea. I'm trying to think of some applications for the data.

So conflicted on this. The technology looks really promising. But I really worry about the NECESSARY human interactions that are being replaced by technology. On the one hand, it's technology that's going to help people learn valuable skills. On the other, it's going to eliminate necessary human interaction that's unlikely to be replaced by anything =(
Re:Show HN: You can now mine for Pizza in your browser on Friday January 12, 2018 @02:17PM (#16135479)
Not trying to knock you. I think it's a fun idea, and I think you've got a decent shot at making some good money. But isn't this just costing the av rage user way more in electricity than just buying a pizza?
The NLP nerd in me loves this! I'm curious, though. Do you have an agenda? Where do you see this going?
Re:Show HN: AI Recruiter on Friday January 12, 2018 @01:49PM (#16135262)
I love this! When I think about what jobs AI should encroach on -- I don't think what jobs are easy to automate. I think, what jobs CAN'T be done well be humans. Recruiting is just too big of a graph for humans to traverse alone. This looks amazing!
