Why is the answer probably no? Because of what happened with FTX?
... yes?
I mean I worked my ass off for years (and got raises every year, so lucky me). But when I asked for a promotion they gave the post to some new comer with less experience. (???) Lesson learned.
If you don't accept the 4 month renewal of the probation period it is usually a firing reason for them... of course YMMV.
- Severe underperformance (building of a dossier over months will be necessary for solid proof).
- The employee doesn't come to work anymore without a valid reason
- There is the 'faute grave' reason. It means that the person did something very very bad in the company, for instance sexual assault, or put critical assets in jeopardy, fraud, blatant misbehavior, stuff like that.
Usually there is at least a 8 month probation period (for engineers and most high paying jobs) in which you can fire someone with between 2 days and 2 weeks notice. No need for a reason whatsoever. (This applies to France)
It is very inconvenient and a hassle to have 5 different cables for 5 different devices. It is a waste of space, materials... The economic gains by volume continent wide should not be underestimated.
The government already does... just saying.
I went to a third party, 250 EUR, they just repaired the motherboard, works like a charm, and did it in 1 day. It's been 2 years. Fuck apple.
........right?
This itself is a victory. This means the subject needs more discussion or is too complex for a 5 minute meeting.
I prefer to spend 2 hours to make a subject clear to all parties rather than developing under a false interpretation and having to fix the issue through a grueling 5 day back and forth.
I think writing before and after the meeting is both desirable. Before to specify the object of the meeting and to limit its scope, afterwards to conclude and archive the decisions made.
This way there are no ambiguities and no one can evade responsibility. This avoids a he-said vs she-said situation as well.
I really hope not. There are enough satellites out there, there are already too many, space pollution is real. Maybe we can find a better solution to this particular problem.
Which developed country doesn't it surpass? From what I've seen the Netherlands is well on the road to becoming today's Mexico.
We have been open, we gave them the opportunity to reciprocate, they refused, then we close up shop for them. It is only fair. We are an open society, but we are not idiots, (at least I like to think so...).
