Doesn't work with my github enterprise with entra sso integration. I left a question on github gptel but no progress as of yet. That drove me to agent-shell which requires a cli but works.
The car vendor does sell you cars he doesn't understand. You drive a car you don't understand.

At least someone in the chain has to take over the responsibility in respect to litigations. That one has an interest to understand the inner workings of AI generated artefacts.

BeOS of 2026?
I sympatize with degrowth. But the measures are wrong.

Take the idea of not being able to wash your cloths when you want. What a step back! But instead get rid of your heated pool or turn down heating by two degrees.

Re:Calculus with Julia on Monday October 12, 2026 @03:12PM (#50061351)
What type of programs have you been writing?
Attention! In German a falscher Freund, false friend, is also used as a standing medical term for Flatus deceptor.
Thank you for TXR

Easy: Items must work without internet connection so they cannot be updated online.
Re:Julia 1.13 Highlights on Monday September 14, 2026 @02:57AM (#49692919)
As you mentioned 38 languages, chances are high that these languages are not all coming from a scientific background, where 1 index based adressing of items is the norm. What is your take in respect to Julia, which is also one offset based?
> Julia uses 1-based indexing.

That rules it out to become a successor to Python. It sounds reasonable until you start interacting with other libraries.

I do know the attemp to justify it for Lua and I don't buy it.

So generalisation of concepts going to far?
Re:Emacs 31: An unofficial guide to Markdown-ts-mode on Thursday August 27, 2026 @04:46PM (#49471015)
The critique converning lsp and eglot support is nonetheless true.
Re:IPFS Maintainers Winding Down on Monday August 24, 2026 @04:18PM (#49425337)
The shit hit the fan once filecoin became intertwined with IPFS. So DOA long time ago.
Re:New EU-wide product repair rules come into force on Monday August 24, 2026 @06:46AM (#49417890)
I would like to see small appliances inbuilt batteries (mostly Li-Ion based) be prohibted. It contributes to device obsolescence and is a security risk --> burning waste dumps.
Re:Early Humans Likely Ate Carbs and Sugary Foods on Saturday August 22, 2026 @12:36AM (#49396602)
Today we know sugar was a key ingredient for brain development in humans, not just proteins because of eating meat.
This is not correct. I do not have the app and get tracking for my orders.
Re:Pixel 11 Pro Fold feels like the end of an era on Thursday August 20, 2026 @06:25AM (#49372705)
Something is broken on the site. I scroll a bit and then a nag screen locks further reading.

Symlink and done?
It's foundational science. The US scuence system calls for utility and time to merket. In such a system there is little space for gluons.
The sweet spot is representative democracy with a tendency of socialism, to mildly distribute welath and assure social coherence. A voting system which results in a division of force, representing the voters will.

The current US administration calls such things comunism.

Re:Could psilocybin be the key to treating anorexia? on Wednesday August 05, 2026 @08:28AM (#49181895)
We hear a lot of psilocybine lately, it cures altsheimer, people in coma awake miraculously. As long as we do not understand the workings, it reminds me of the days when radium or other nuclear substances were the cure for everything.
Is there any good watch outside doing GPS for position and time, minus all the body survzeilance things?
So it will never last a lifetime.
Re:The Usefulness of Useless Knowledge (1939) [pdf] on Monday July 27, 2026 @04:24AM (#49066622)
As a mostly recluse myself, I made.my.peace with world. The world is led by men who think the faster we arrive at utility the faster money can be made. True. The falacy on that way is to assume that people like Maxwell, Oersted and many more mentioned in the article would prefer working in teams which is shoveled these days into the fabric of academic collaboration. It's not. Genius people prefer working alone and their discoveries did and do happen while they are left alone. Out society will lose and already lost a lot with the current requirements of collaborarion in academic work. Venture capital provided by prolific no-knowers is also detromental.
Re:98.css on Friday July 24, 2026 @01:34AM (#49031554)
I do not understand efforts like these. It's not that 98 Windows UI design has been the paramount of UX. Today's technology bloat and layer upon layer of abastractions caused a total bloat.

Understanding what is required to make a good UX site, and idenifying the minimum neccessary technological components is it.

This is a good point I haven't considered in the past and worth to take into the overall discussion.

In this regard I do find DuckDB amazing.
Everyone is talking about the massive power of Radio 4 - it wasn't. Radio poland or algeria have much stronger LW broadcast.
