I abandoned 3D art after witnessing DALL-E 2's capabilities, and I've observed the ripple effects across creative fields. Initially, photographers and fellow artists dismissed AI as a non-threat. That turned out to be misguided optimism. Now, with Midjourney producing such impressive work, the majority of us have become largely obsolete. These days, I'm noticing developers exhibiting the same denial. From my perspective, they're on a similar trajectory. This AI revolution is impacting creative and technical industries far more rapidly and dramatically than most anticipated..

Beminder is not for everyone. Personally it has changed my life for the better. Before I didn't have discipline, now I'm impressed with my accomplishments in several areas of my life. From shaving, pushups to 3D design, writing and losing weight. At one point I was keeping track of 21 habits with beeminder, now only 12.

I prefer to pay and still having this amazing tool than losing what I described above.

You can do the same without beeminder. The point is that having a punishment if you don't do what you said you will do is a good motivator.

Legalize drugs would not change anything, cartels here in Mexico get money from many activities, extortion, kidnapping and many businesses that from the outside look legitimate. Even compounds made to house the military have being attacked by cartels in recent years.
