This is the difference between "knowingly" doing something (i.e. intent) and "negligently" allowing something to happen.

In American law, typically intent is more for criminal law and negligence is for liability of civil damages.

So far, no one. It's like prosecuting an accident.

The question might be asked "why would we assume the singer isn't singing about themself?" In modern pop music it's become it's become standard that the "character" an artist "plays" when they're performing or writing is themself; there's no suspension of disbelief like with a play where there's an entire context around knowing that what you're seeing is a portrayal. Same with a book or movie or other works of fiction, and with those forms of media it's clear when you're seeing or reading fiction or non-fiction.

In a sense, some artists write novels and some write memoirs.

It's cool to see Chris Staecker's channel getting some love, he brings a a kind of joy I miss from the old internet. I know it's still around, but it certainly feels more difficult to find and suppressed in many ways.

I can also recommend Raw Therapee as an open source raw editor.
I'm reminded of a graphic novel by Barry Jones called "The Book of Niall" about an actor going through "depersonalization-derealization disorder", a similar form of dissociation that the author himself struggled with. It's really difficult to describe but the graphic novel I think does it well. Highly recommend it

The blog itself, Animation Obsessive, is also all high quality if this kind of thing interests you

Kinda? Routing can be compared and benchmarked pretty easily so I'm not as worried about it

How many tokens did it burn doing that instead of just vendoring?

Like I said in a separate comment, these tools are written and trained by corporations first and foremost, they'll always have conflicting interests.

> Model Routing will always be done better by models themselves.

I would never trust something like model routing to the same company that would profit from it, and that goes for telling models doing their own routing when that could easily be trained into the model to make things more expensive. Sort of a conflict of interest.

Models are first and foremost trained by corporations.

I mean you could probably say that for most crud applications, the difference is somebody else is already done the work of setting everything up and it looks nice

I'm seeing surprisingly few comments about OP getting homeopathic treatment
The blog post itself has pretty a pretty strong un-copy-edited ChatGPT vibes.
That's a pretty strong assertion just throw out like it's obvious
These kinds of policies are exactly what I meant by "distractions", those policies tend to help the wealthy far more than workers, and then those same policies are turned towards the workers when there aren't any more immigrants to hurt
I would call that holding steady worldwide in the last decade, which honestly is still unacceptable with how much more wealthy the world has gotten
And yet we are also living in some of the strongest wealth inequality in the last 100 years at least.

> Additionally, it often happens that the interests of people in one country are antagonistic to the interests of people in another country.

I find this honestly kind of difficult to believe, except when it comes to distractions by the people who want to stay in power

The idea that the answer to this question would not be intuitive to pretty much anyone that participates in an economy is a genuine shock.
The term "millennials" referred to a specific cohort of people that all share similar experiences and therefore culture because they were born around a specific time (early ninties).

So yes, it would be an evolution to refer to them as college student age today

As it was fortold in the prophecy:

Relevant xkcd <https://xkcd.com/1053/>

The usage of the phrase has evolved past carrying about the actual generation (kind of like how people still talk about "millennials" like they're college students).

Also, Hoffman very intentionally opened the door to talking about generational differences, this kind of feels like the commenter may have touched a nerve

Fair, the youths very much much get blamed for smoking and gambling back in the day as well. Sort of pivotal to the story of Pinocchio, for example
Re:Whole cross-sectional human ultrasound tomography on Sunday June 21, 2026 @11:10AM (#48619601)
Even if it's not the same resolution there's still benefits, a bit one that it will likely be WAY less expensive, both upfront and in maintenance, even after building the water tank. It might also replace a fair amount of routine ultrasound usage because of the reduction of operator skill.

Also, there's plenty of people who can't be in MRI machines, and likely a lot safer for everyone else.

A kind of literal translation would be that he cannot match the amount of love and support that his wife shows, both in amount or in intensity.

A rewording might be "she is more supportive than I could ever be, and better at being supportive than I could ever be"

I appreciate the AI disclosure, I hope that becomes normalized
