In my hometown, a bit further down lake Zurich, here are two well-known such places, visible in google maps.

I am surprised nobody here has yet mentioned the real case of what happened to Evan Brown, the former president of the Dallas Ft Worth Unix Users Group who worked at a telephone switch company as a system administrator and had an idea for a generic code translator.

Maybe the New York Times tells it best:

English to German still has room for improvement.

At first I was offended but then I realized he was just pulling my leg. He smiled and said, "I'm just yanking your chain." She added, "Don't mind him, he's always rattling someone's cage."

Hey, I live there too.

On a recent visit to Boston I wanted to use my credit card to buy my wife a gift at Best Buy whose special price was internet-only for store pickup. For those of us whose credit card billing addresses have non-US addresses, their special magic address to get past the US-only address form is:

10780 Kempwood Dr. Houston, TX 77043
