Was it actually cheaper than Ubering? I always felt that the price was very similar and Ubering removed the need to be the driver. Only ever used Car2Go when I actually needed the car space.

Someone doesn't want to profit off of something that they feel is against their own moral code and that becomes "everything that is wrong with American politics"? Wow.
So am I to believe you have no concerns with how anything you create is used?

Um, sure, I guess if you want to remove every element that make this interesting or unique then go ahead. I'd rather experience it how the storyteller wants me to.

In a world where we have already been preconditioned to certain design patterns, the blue button is clearly the more prominent and will subconsciously be considered the "default" option.

Did you read the writeup? He directly addresses the points of when a human would be able to detect the person as well as the fact that the Uber was driving at the upper speed of safety for the situation which a human driver may not have done.

Just wondering, was this sentence intentionally written in an extremely complicated way? It took me a while to figure out what it was saying.

I disagree with you entirely on your first point. Trump's entire campaign was based on hate and that's why he won. It was all about building the base of people who hate the other side more.

Then what is your argument? If people are willing to view ads when the content is good, then why does it matter if it's a native app or not?

Uh, what did you expect? If you turn off notifications to an application of course you won't be notified, regardless of what communication tactics are used in the app.
That seems to be your fault for assuming otherwise. Unless there was specifically a button in the app for turning off notifications only for texts.
