Re:Things to know if you get cancer in 2026 on Wednesday October 14, 2026 @06:20PM (#50096250)
I just had my 11th year in remission after 2 stem cell transplants. The best advice I can give is you need to be your own advocate, ask questions about everything, clinical trials, what treatment looks like if initial treatment isn't enough. Let me know if I can be of any help or if you have any questions.
tried it out but based on the model sizing result i got i got an insufficient memory error when the server started running

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (June 2026) on Sunday June 14, 2026 @01:58PM (#48530438)
Working on a claims automation service for a pet insurance company I work for. Interesting because its backoffice facing but still helps our end users to get their reimbursements faster and makes the feedback loop when we need more documentation from them shorter.

Re:Show HN: Aide, an open-source AI native IDE on Thursday November 07, 2024 @09:00PM (#42083379)
I've been using it recently to have cline check my local dev server to review it's changes and iterate if there is anything off with the design changes it has made. Example prompt:

I have attached a screenshot of an updated design for the Navbar component. My local dev server is running at localhost:3000. Update the component to match the new designs and double check your changes after save.

Vscode + cline + openrouter using claude sonnet 3.5 20241022 model it's unreal the shit it can do
Re:Show HN: Aide, an open-source AI native IDE on Wednesday November 06, 2024 @08:56PM (#42072449)
I was on the fork train for awhile but cursors keeps having weird issues with indexing, intellisense, not being able to save files when format on save is enabled I wound up going back to vscode with cline and use openrouter to save money via prompt caching. To my knowledge cursor doesn't have Claude sonnets computer use enabled yet which is a total game changer and cline does I'll check back in a few months but instead of paying 20 a month for cursor pro I can put 20 in credits in openrouter and fully leverage the latest Claude model and features
This is really great. I just used it to do some whiteboarding on a zoom call and it was event a lot more user friendly than miro.

Re:Ask HN: What low code platforms are worth using? on Tuesday September 19, 2023 @06:13AM (#37567731)
i’ve worked with retool at my past 2 startups and it has been very useful as far as allowing engineers to build out quick internal tools so that things like service requests that occur quite often can be handled manually by the customer service teams.
