It works but Chrome's Web Speech api seems slow. Test at https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/demos/speech.html. The Web Speech api doesn't work on mobile browsers, would be a lot cooler if it did.

You use distributed databases and have never encountered an inconsistency? What scale? What are you using, I guess not any of these: https://aphyr.com/tags/jepsen.

True, I finally broke down and just added "--insecure-registry" (it's just a cert verification issue, the connection is secure regardless). Will try again later, sounds like they're planning major registry changes anyway. Anyway, while the S3 backed private registry is kinda slow, it works and it's literally a single docker run. I'm not sure how it could be simpler. https://github.com/docker/docker-registry/blob/master/ADVANC...

You say "For example, we used our DIY DNS management approach until the recent etcd update."

What is the etcd update, what system did you change to?

Seems there's lots of docker container dns servers, some using etcd. Don't know whether to try one of them or dive into kubernetes.
