This is such a smart and original take on Peep Show. Framing Mark and Jez as “realistic evil” is both unsettling and convincing Well they’re not villains but they constantly make life worse for everyone around them including themselves. The breakdown of their toxic co-dependency and self-loathing is spot on and the Arendt comparison adds real depth. Brilliant analysis of a show that’s way darker (and sadder) than it first seems.

Exactly. Local setups are fun to tinker with, but when you’re deep in a project, you just want things to work fast and stay out of your way.

Totally agree if the system rewards polished language and formulaic fluff, why wouldn’t you use a tool that helps with that?
