I put lineageos onto several devices in the past year and they exhibited some mysterious slowness and reduced battery time. I checked everything I could imagine, CPU usage, I/O, but nothing was significant enough to explain this. I love lineageos, what can I do to find out what strains and drains my hardware?

Low quality listicle SEO spam for their 'courses'. Submitter is abusing HN to spam nothing but links to their site.
Please avoid giving this kind of noise any attention or links.

I can highly recommend NetGuard on android, it's non-root and free software.
I wish there was a system that lets me whitelist specific hosts per app.

"At all" is a very strong wording. Do you really not think that appropriate compensation is all that's needed for this approach to make perfect sense?

Sorry, second language English here. I thought it was obvious what I meant. é is very close in appearance and sound to e compared to some Hebrew(?) or Chinese.

It is also natural to be attracted to sweet pictures of the other sex. But this whole article pushes the mindset that this is not ok. So I would argue that ignorance of proper spellings (in the same alphabet! Your examples are misleading) marginalizes them.

I too found that irritating. Especially since the deliberate misspelling of her name as 'Lenna' in Playboy.was explicitly mentioned.

Nobody owes you anything either. I don't like your opinion. Your internet access will be cut tomorrow. Apple and Google ban you from using their phones. You are welcome to create, manage and host your own infrastructure though. Good luck!
Oh wait, most of the AS around you also prefer not to route your traffic. And your domain? Nah, DNS is also at their providers' whim and you are on a very popular blacklist.

FYI this comment comes across as very unnatural marketing through 'community engagement', hijacking the top comment. This is HN not some business Bros you can lull to market with 'journey' fluff. Please don't abuse HN.

How could inotity notice that though? Bit rot happens at a different level. Detecting it would require regular full data scans, right? And then I guess all files must be write-protected to actually trigger a conflict instead of syncing the corruption. Hmmmmm.

'Faking' is a word not even strong enough. Those people acquired titles by fraud and deception.

While this is the right thing to do, be careful. I am sure that there is copyright on the digital files themselves. Similar to the disregard for human culture that museums showed when trying to prevent third-reproductions of their catalog images and else.

What do you want to know? Basically it's just another set of GNSS satellites that devices can use for positioning, if their chipset supports it. Customers benefit greatly from this.
