I've moved (back) to buying higher priced electronics from places like Best Buy. The prices are usually the same anyway for the name brand stuff, and I'm less worried about fakes. Last week bought a new smart watch and headphones and they arrived 2 days after ordering.

Cheese dripping from cheeseburgers or heavily sauced ribs can leave a mess, which can smoke/flameup and give newly cooked food a bad taste. Normally I just brush enough to get the big stuff off the grate.
Re:Ask HN: Why should I use Django?

I actually taught myself python through Django. Basically started the tutorial without previous python experience. When you start with the ORM and models, views, etc, there is enough Django-specific stuff you have to learn anyway.
Not that I'd recommend this way... but 6 years later it seemed to have worked.

The gear S2 has a similar rotating bezel, though it's less obviously looking at it. The strap design on the S2 is awful- too easy to break. Good to see they are moving to normal watch bands. One thing that would keep me from buying a samsung again is if they stick with SVoice instead of letting you use Google voice search (especially with Google Assistant)

The first question is in reference to your original statement of "find a new hobby". I'm using that to say that target shooting or hunting are hobbies. Whereas owning a gun for "safety" or "being cool" is not a hobby. And my speculation is that the latter group of gun owners is more of the problem.

Do you know how many sport shooters or hunters are involved in murders? (legitimate question)
While the situation in the US is bad, I don't think a straight ban is the answer. It's definitely complicated.

So my hobbies of homebrewing (88k alcohol related deaths), motorcycle riding (5k), and driving cars(22k) should all be banned?

The wiki directly states that the "hybrid" engine accounts for a 35% increase in efficiency.
Does it need to be able to run in all electric to be considered a hybrid?

I believe it's a hybrid. My company makes fuel tanks for the current M-ATV from Oshkosh. Working on bids to make the tanks for this one too.
Re:Monitoring the progress of fermentation of beer in a simple fashion

I wish there were a good solution to monitoring the gravity. But the more I've thought about it, I've put off trying for a solution. Most of my beer is done in 2 weeks, and I often age it for longer. It's not the kind of thing were real time information (about gravity) is super useful (IMO), because after a certain amount of time the fermentation stops anyway. I'd love it for data purposes though. I track temperature during fermentation, that's important to me.

Looks cool. I'd like to see [esc] to close dialog. And is it a safe default to have [enter] perform the action especially on warning and danger? (just a thought)
