That is brilliant.
Can you share your sleeping habits? And do you use power naps?
Just curious!!
I also had problem with loading youtube at the same time(for 10-15 minutes) . It looks like a coincidence, but who knows if google uses some of the infrastructure from aws.
Yes, there are some good freelancers, but most of the times their gigs description are not as polished, and that cannot beat the descriptions of other overconfident less-skilled freelancers.
If its small gig of 5-10 bucks, just try few gigs. if it is for a long term job, you need to vet them throughly with related questions and paid assignments.
I generally skip words to increase my speed.
If anything interesting is spotted, I dive deep into it.
Its just a learned habit by consistent reading of decade. though not as fast as speed readers, It saves a lot of time.
@dang, hey please reset word wraping in title, its causing word break in most of the titles in mobile which reduces speed of checking them quickly.
I will propose decentralized Domain Registration system which can overcome all monopoly, sensors and bureaucracy related to ICANN.
Though its not crime where I live. But if it was, muncipal officer will give us two-three warning and later come with a team of worker, cut the grass and fine user with penalty + cost of cutting + additional panalty. Repeated violation will may lead sealing og property until the court hearing or a former apology.
Still it will never exceed $1k.
Agree, kernel is responsible for managing all low level stuffs that we mostly take granted, it should not have an extra level of abstraction.
I have read many mains of Linus where he specifically rants about the need of avoiding kernel panic, he specfically points what not to do in those mails. Certainly worth reading to understand this mail.
It looks interesting to me. It am kinda skeptical about it, most of the small chips which are under shortage are small chips, and definitely not made with latest 5nm/7nm node sizes.
Most of this chips can easily manage to fall at 22nm node size, where TSMC is no monopoly.
I think its just a PR stunt by TSMC, to overprice and prebook their production capacity for increased margins.
PS: It is my personal opinion.
Agree, both "you're" and "your" are correct with different perspectives.
Not the clones. Its more like a clickbait title. And its not a project or product but just a listing,it could have been better as a blog post.
Php, mysql/postgres for backend, bootstrap for css and vanilla javascript.
Sometime I use react for frontend.
In my experience always have a side project you can work on.
I had at least 2 side projects any time in last 10 years.very few got to where I planned but they kept me updated.
With evolving technology, Industry will require knowledgable managers who are familiar with latest tech and trends. You will fit there with your experience even after a decade.
It could be using system timezone and locale for it.
Try changing system timezone and language settings and restart machine.
I use php(7.4) and python(3.x), works great. Alternatively, perl is also a great choice.
Nope my behaviour was specifically related to office politics, I left the job. I never liked to fake it.
currently I am openly searching for some good remote part-time job so I can work with full productivity without office politics.
Can you share product you're referring?
Yes I have seen same productivity patterns. In one company I applied, the most senior developer's average skills were less than my junior skills.
I can say I have junior skills but better productivity. Most of the times I had under-performed to save my ass from undeserving workload.
I am also searching for similar one but I specifically mention part-time and remote.
I have fairly regular skills and so far no luck.
Most of the times I get discriminated response due to my cost of living in India. But i am surely confident about getting the one.
I think devops is great fit for you.
Hi, I am a developer with 5 years of experience and my skills are fairly junior level(I am not bright one) . Currently I am searching for similar remote position, how can I apply for one. I have tried applying online but most of applications are rejected due to skills.
Ps. I have bachelor degree in cs, can code in vanilla php, js and python. I can do regular frontend and wordpress like projects. I will accept lower pay due to reduced cost of living from relocation to hometown. Currently trying to build saas based invoicing app in side hustle, in planning stage.
