Wow, you really need to put that in every post about Wix. Super disingenuous.

I have been browsing Tiles a lot and love it. Anyone got an invite?
First they came for the Nazis and the pedophile and I did not speak out because it made Reddit more tolerable for many years.
Yeah, but then you are surrounded by a bunch of neo nazi. It's like Voat.
I am super happy with that law.
Re:Affirmative action at US colleges has been banned on Friday June 30, 2023 @03:09PM (#36540543)
Well non-whites especially, because the government literally gave away money to white people (specifically excluding black people) in the 50s and 60s to buy houses and build generational wealth.

So yes, poor people, but also very much non-whites.

Won't anyone think of the rich?!?!
What was really surprising was when we learned that the new pope also used Reader.

I once failed an undergraduate student because they argued that racism ended in 1965 and that racism did not exist after that. It's like they didn't pay attention in class at all.

Meh, as a Canadian, this might not be perfect, but I am happy whenever the government attempts to revitalize Canadian heritage and remove American influences.

Re:Why has Mastodon adoption stalled? on Saturday June 24, 2023 @08:33PM (#36464083)
Why would you use an old browser? Are you not concerned with security?
While we don't understand all parts of consciousness, we understand an incredible amount compared to 25 years ago. So we are much closer today than 25 years ago.

There is a fallacy among non-scientists that if we don't understand absolutely all of it, it means we understand none of it. We understand most of it already.

Re:Europe has fallen behind America and the gap is growing on Wednesday June 21, 2023 @04:32PM (#36423992)
I am not American, but I have a master's in American history. I stand by what I said.
I disagree. Should the Rust subreddit allow posts for the game rust? Would it not be unfair to remove them?

This applies to anything and everything. Subreddits were great because they could set whatever rules they wanted and you could just leave if you did not like it.

That whole website is "all of science disagrees with us, but we know we are right, and there is a cabal of scientists trying to silence us". This is the least scientific website and you should not use them as a source.
And selectively not leak documents that would hurt the Russian agenda of having Trump be president.
Yes, but the vast majority of people aren't sending money globally.

And the other commentor is right, using credit cards in any non-american country is super simple and completely without hassle. Same with sending money to anyone I know, I just need their email address or phone number. Happens in seconds, is completely safe and ensured and best of all, reversible if there is a mistake.
