Or Kotlin. People usually complain about JVM but lots of enterprise software runs on it. Spring boot ecosystem provides lots ready to use libraries. Kotlin can be much easier to use compared to Java.
Yes Go can be better language now, but still lacks lots of library and API support. And Rust, I'd rather code in jvm language fast and ship it fast than building up whole infrastructure that takes way more time to implement.

I've recently finished watching Narcos on Netflix and this news comes out... Is the whole planet in depression or something ? Why in the world people would think about legalization of cocaine when it kills you eventually. Cannabis and alcohol is different thing. Economy?! There are different way to support economy, get rid off mafia and narcos first.

Why there's a so much hype about blocking TikTok? China blocked multiple US websites by replicating them first and blocking them (Google, FB, Twitter), irony, isn't it? Were those websites against Chinese laws? I'm surprised by some people reacting negatively to this.
P.S. I am not a pro Trump.

It's like "Let's buy something not made in China"... Amazon is very convenient and at some point addictive (same day or 2 days delivery) way of online shopping. They got big enough that now they can dictate rules. So unless some other company with really great customer service, delivery speed, and return policy comes up, Amazon will be dominant in the US and Europe. Alibaba/AliExpress is an asian amazon.
