People keep saying “bad apples into indices” but I have yet to truly understand what folks mean. Most of the mainstay indices would not include a fresh on the block new comer and it would generally need to follow other criteria. Yes SpaceX got added to the Nasdaq 100 but that is the whole purpose of that index. People should not be investing their savings in that.
You could but why stop there? I argue that enforcing the standards for compliance and transparency is one of the greatest levers. After that it’s on the market. You will never stop an individual from buying fools gold and in some sense it’s healthy for some to fail no matter how silly the investment was.
It is just rsync after all right?
These are elegant solutions imo.
I am going to jump on the touch hate bandwagon but more specifically I think it’s odd in the format they designed. I think the MSFT surface is brilliant because you can fold it down into an iPad like device which can be great for travel and other non-desk uses.
Touch while still being a normal laptop does feel odd. I would be curious who wants touch in this form factor.
The title is poorly worded. I can easily see how it can be conflated in passing. Naming the model is silly in the title. It should be mentioned in the article but as read the title suggests it’s something related to this model.
I think you’re overthinking it. Someone just passed away. For all accounts they seem to be a really amazing person with incredible character, something that is missing in many people. She donated a lot of her wealth throughout her life, always being one of the first to write a check for disaster recovery.
Let’s not pick apart “myths and folklore”, it does not matter at the end of the day.
This is a slop website selling a product.
It does not appear to adjust for any of the things that matter. Taxes, cost of capital, generation mix, etc. I think the “insight” is impossible to call an insight with the lack of real modeling.
Any package hosts that scan and include cooldowns by default that operate on a consumption model? The ones I have seen all charge a lot.
Why? It would be helpful to understand why you support such a silly statement.
Ok so we have deviated off topic. Got it.
Again this argument is hilarious. No idea what the purpose is. All I said is how can you argue about the practicality of a car that is going to be 250k+.
Whatever floats your boat though.
I know yall don’t like Tesla but not sure I have any bone to pick at what is impractical for a car that is $250k+. Seems like an impractical argument to have.
Amazing how funny this is.
I mean it’s a 250k car. Why is it supposed to be practical?
> I assume a human doing this would be charged with reckless driving.
I would be shocked if that was the case.
For me it’s that I know if something is wrong with the shipping that Amazon will fix it for me.
The other month my wife ordered something inexpensive from Best Buy that got shipped. I am 90% certain the FedEx delivery person took it, impossible to find the easiest way to resolve the matter with BestBuy. Amazon while historically it was not always intuitive to find the chat feature. I could always get there and the problem was fixed.
First let us pick the search engine we want tobusey
Why would you need to know anything about 20 years ago. In a sense financial data is even easier. There is a ledger and if you have kept 10 years of detailed history that is plenty.
What are you talking about? How is that bigotry? Why are you putting words in peoples mouth.
Talk to any teacher in America, it’s one of the biggest problems today. It’s not class, or money but something got lost and parents expect schools to raise their children but at the same time will be deeply offended that the child they did not raise is misbehaving.
Apparently I was not direct enough.
I never said anything about lower class or wealth. Next time if you want to have a constructive discussion, discuss don’t leave your biased emotions putting words in others mouth.
I did not specify it so nope.
I wish I could find it now but I think generally money only drives so much change. One of the biggest issues these days is parents both dont care and get offended when you suggest their child did something wrong. As a parent myself the only lever I have is to buy a home is a district with good schools. It’s a self selection problem.
Anecdotal but the number 1 thing I have seen is bad parents don’t pass consequences to their children. They are both uninterested in raising their child but will be the first to defend their children when they do wrong.
> for a tool that often hallucinates
I am not saying the tools don’t make mistakes but honestly this talking point is dead imo.
The main pic looks like a classic British leg of lamb. So what’s your point? Why post such low quality slop?
As I said I can see the value in this similar to Pinterest boards. It is directionally correct and serves most of the value that a picture does. No perfect but probably close enough for the general audience.
How would a photo of the exact recipe differ? Is this not close enough for 80% of the value. It is similar to Pinterest boards imo.
If your asking for a recipe you might not know what the dish looks like or what good looks like.
What’s interesting is how those that over index themselves often miss the obvious which could simply be some things (cook books) are quite helpful with picture. If I am flipping through the cookbook, how would I know what Boeuf Bourguignon is and what good looks like.
When did I cry fowl? I am simply saying that the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
Absolutely is. About as bad as threatening to mute.
If you have a point you say it, don’t craft a witty question to reveal an error and then respond with a woosh when people think you are being genuine. At any rate the root of the “mistake” was further up.
