What slur did I use? And I'm not baiting anything, just speaking my mind. Sometimes lazy on phone to link evidence. But I shall banish myself. Good day
It's glorified in American culture. Tv shows, literally every drama, memes, constant cheating references in memes ,like "my wife's boyfriend said..."
Re:Nobody cares about your blog on Sunday July 16, 2023 @01:12AM (#36743894)
Have you heard about the good news of mastodon?
Re:Nobody cares about your blog on Sunday July 16, 2023 @01:11AM (#36743887)
Because gaping mouth video clickbait is dumb. How often do you even see a video cover with someone having a closed mouth and normal facial expression?

Most blogs will die in the abyss when server storage payments are no longer paid due to death.

Physical publications have a chance at existence though

I think some initial news articles claimed this and everyone went with it. Which is basically how it worked, replacing ads, but in a different way, and actually more annoying.. block everyone else's ads...and have their own little popup ads, and if you enabled that, you'd get paid in BAT tokens per view too.

$$$ just in time for elections.. that's all it is
Baffling how such a horrible site still exists. Yeah let's keep promoting the American values of cheating

Instead they picked the lesser attractive races to freely throw citizenships at now
Small businesses get absolutely fucked...
Aurora still works, you just can't use the search, you enable the search tab and it directs to google play in browser , then you hit a button to send the direct link back to app
This is super trivial, a malicious actor will just use one of the thousands of free receive only sms to confirm

Don't worry, they just pipeline your emails directly to google now for 'verification' for your protection. Mozilla is a sellout
Re:The mathematically correct way to tie your shoes on Sunday July 09, 2023 @04:00PM (#36658294)
Who ties their shoes, you tie it once, strong, and just slip them on until they fall apart
These comments are getting worse than reddit...

How about we not support data mining and go to Lemmy?
Let's not forget mozilla prioritized renaming master password to primary password before adding back in print to Firefox mobile, and it's still missing..5 years later...
That's what incognito is for. And what you should use regardless
Hey now, connecting a wallet to your browser by JavaScript and approving limitless permissions you can't see is the future!
I sure picked the worst time to be unemployed and look at a coding career again after a decade
Re:Vietnam bans 'Barbie' movie over South China Sea map on Monday July 03, 2023 @05:32PM (#36579135)
The real reason is the government doesn't want western garbage movies influencing it's citizens. They censor a lot of the internet and block all tabloid news sites as well as a lot of..let's say polarized news sites.

Also everyone in Vietnam hates the Chinese as the Viet govt keeps giving them special administrative regions for business

Re:Aspartame: Once More Unto the Breach on Sunday July 02, 2023 @11:49PM (#36568539)
You honestly believe that? If they touched the funding there's always influence. Having been part of medical studies, I can say there's always agendas and those involved in the studies will push the boundaries and fudge the data
