This is awesome, good luck with this tool. Can it do isometric and top down views?
how often are we truly writing actual novel programs that are complex in a way AI does not excel at?

There are many types of complex, and many times complex for a human coder, are trivial for AI and its skillset.

is this really what you are using AI for ?
Google recently said transformers wouldn't work ...

looking at this response, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19307693

it seems to use your own stem cells, and is not used because of its risk factor

Re:New Breed of Fuel Pump Skimmer Uses SMS and Bluetooth on Thursday February 21, 2019 @11:46AM (#19218126)
there are 168,000 gas stations in America. Any given day maybe 100 have a skimmer working...seems like an moderate inconvenience for something that will literally probably never happen to you.

And if it does... just call your bank and get a new card and get the transactions reversed in a 30min phone call.

Outside of the false equivalence - as posted to great fanfare yesterday :

Definitely cool service - do these numbers support MMS?
Re:UberRUSH is shutting down on Saturday March 31, 2018 @11:49PM (#16726603)
have done it plenty of times. Just call the driver and ask if they mind having a package instead of a passanger (no one will care).

And yes make sure someone is ready to receive the items, then you are golden.

Re:Older fathers have 'geekier sons' on Tuesday June 20, 2017 @03:35PM (#14597786)
that might be comparing two different things. In a single parent household (which I'm sure is heavily swayed towards single mothers) kids may be out playing with other kids.

In families with older fathers, [assuming] there is a higher percentage of dual parenting ... which could mean more attention at home = less time playing sports with the neighborhood kids

Not so fast, what if Walmart lowers overall compensation in the future, what if Walmart's compensation is already overly low. Does that change your opinion on this extra incentive program?
CPGs = Consumer Packaged Goods?

Also - can you take individual classes like the ones you referenced at CM? or do you need to be in the Masters Program

No 'utility' uses just a 'yes' to sign anyone up for anything - this is just a silly article
...but the customer is very rarely stuck holding the bag. If you report a transaction as fraudulent you get your money back usually within hours...not really sure what you're on about.
Re:France bans unlimited sugary drink refills on Saturday January 28, 2017 @11:21AM (#13507088)
I agree much more with jdam's thoughts - why are we controlling other people with laws. Its sad, ... scary at worse. Is your idea really to start policing people's everyday interactions that we don't support?

Just the judicial and monitoring overhead alone makes this really silly. What do you do to a restaurant that serves unlimited sodas? What resources do you expend to find them and bring them to trial?

Re:MEGA source code on Saturday January 28, 2017 @11:16AM (#13507053)
is open source the point here?
whats even more scary, is Google being able to tell what site is valid/secure. Imagine the implications if they limited who could get CA's or decided the information on your site was harmful
I believe speeding is very much a laughing matter and overblown as a justification for tickets and revenue (not evn considering traffic cameras). Speed limits are arbitrary low and cause traffic and accidents due to the resulting congestion. There has been studies stating that (on the highway) a speeding driver is usually safer than someone driving under the speed limit.

Also to address the stopping for children element. You seem to think stopping distances carry the full force of the starting speed. If an obstacle is ahead and im going 5 mph faster than the speed limit. Even if I hit the obstruction, its not like im going 30mph when I hit it. If I could have stopped at 25, but going 30 caused me to hit something I would only collide at 2-5 mph at best.

The difference in stopping distance between 25 and 30 feet must be a few feet. Lets not act like you would hit and kill the kid cause you were driving 30mph when you started stopping.

the latter would be my guess

Who in Atlanta is paying 200k? I am just getting off a job hunt and was hard pressed to find much above 130 for senior devs.
Re:Amazon’s Ambition to Compete Directly with UPS and FedEx on Wednesday September 28, 2016 @05:37PM (#12601570)
Hmmm this is a human problem at the end of the day. You don't get the wrong mail because of USPS policy.

When the mailperson that delivers your mail currently gets fired by USPS and gets hired by Amazon - do you think much will change in that regard??

and whats wrong with eating too much - I understand that you say breaking the fast is important ... but why?
Re:Free, Worldwide, Encrypted Phone Calls for iPhone (2014) on Monday February 29, 2016 @01:17AM (#11193894)
Desktop client ties in with google chrome. The last place I would consider anything private on my computer.

Mobile app ties in with my cell phone. ... again meta data I would rather no one know, or be forced to associated with whatever I communicated on whisper..kinda defeats the purpose.

Major and inexplicable issues I would love to see discussed.

of course the officer said he went for his gun. Every other eyewitness says otherwise. This is why we had calls for Police to where cameras - they lie

what has people even more outraged is that the spokesperson said the shooting was justified, BUT there will be an investigation.... This isn't just people going for the lynchmob

Re:The U.S. Digital Services Playbook on Monday August 11, 2014 @05:42PM (#8165484)
This is also kind of scary. Imagine what kind of havoc the government could cause if it was actually efficient at what it does.

remember now - gold has no 'worth' Its only valuable because of its utility as currency, and its standardization as such
Re:Bitcoin hits $200 on Tuesday April 09, 2013 @08:34AM (#5517622)
alot of bitcoin investors, up too this point ARE rank amateurs... nothing new there

"real" markets also have computers and algorithms behind alot of what they are doing. Bitcoin does as well.

I'm sure hitting 200 was either someone setting buy/sells at a point of pride because they wanted too, or a coincidence, or people who don't care because they are long-haul investing.
