Honestly, fuck you. You're the idiot that thinks that it's better to jail people for weed than allow people to make their own decisions. Fuck you, Sudomal.
Just because it's legal doesn't mean anyone is encouraging it. Lots of things are legal that could possibly be dangerous. Guess in your opinion someone had better get that legislation ready to protect the ignorant masses, right?
That sure is understating it. The last release states it's compatible with Firefox 4.0 - 14. Firefox 15 came out August 28, 2012.
Greed is a powerful motivator, but I'm with you. If MtGox hasn't gotten their shit together in the year since they started having problems, I don't see why they would now.
Thanks for the tip about Telegram. It's really slick! And it has desktop clients too! Unofficial ones, but still… definitely an improvement from WhatsApp or Hangouts.
Are you serious? You're comparing micro-transactions in Candy Crush to Versace/Starbucks/Cadillac. Do you honestly think that's a reasonable comparison?
That is weird. I guess blind people don't send flowers.
Has anyone seriously though about continuing where Palm left off with WebOS? It seems that at this point, WebOS would run just as well on the hardware that Mozilla is targeting with FirefoxOS, since the last WebOS phones came out what... 3 years ago?
From what I heard WebOS was awesome. It's surprising that nobody has picked up where Palm left off.
>and I wish bill nye hadn't given th the time of day.
Agreed. I loved Bill Nye's shows when I was a growing up, and I think he made a positive difference in my life. I don't know if participating in the debate will have had the same effect on anyone there.
I wish Bill would continue the kind of work he did when I was younger, instead of debating creationists, or going on FOX News to be the wacky scientist from that kids show that explains middle school science to the viewers.
Getting children interested in science. In discovery. Fostering a love of learning. That's what I think matters. That will be his legacy.
>Find a job with a company you like, and get some proper job gratification and self respect, please.
It's so easy! I wonder why he hasn't just done that before!?
It really isn't, it's down to around 0.12 cents per doge. When Bitcoin goes down, it usually drags the rest down with it.
Why would a state choose to give up this control though? It's not often that governments concede previously held abilities.
I really don't care. If you want to believe that you're not hurting yourself by smoking a cigarette a day, that's your prerogative. Ask any doctor and they'll tell you different though.
...or on snarky Hacker News comments.
I'm not sure that affects the morality of it though.
Even one cigarette a day is harmful to your health.
It's not really anti-corporate when the same logic is used in defense of corporate actions. It's just incorrect.
Ah okay sorry, yeah I agree with that. I didn't realize what you were saying.
I'd say that sounds a little paranoid too, but then it turns out that his door gets busted down by a bunch of people with guns, so all the sudden it's not that paranoid. Just happened in this case to be the police, and not some other aggressor.
Not like it's any of your business what he does in his home anyway.
Are you completely unable to see it from the perspective of an arresting officer? I can imagine not wanting to go arrest certain people without a good amount of backup. I don't think they'd need something like this for most arrests of course, definitely not cc theft, but it's not like the idea is complete without merit.
If everybody tried a little bit harder to see things from the point of view of other folks, we'd have way fewer problems.
Oh my god, that's ridiculous. Nobody spends half an hour a day waiting on auto updates. The update downloads in the background and takes just a few seconds to install after restarting the browser.
What do you lose by setting those up as example.com/app and example.com/dashboard instead?
Yeah both the reporter and the police officer that gave out the information are real assholes. Incredibly unprofessional.
Where do you get your news?
It sure does. Hopefully they can find a way to optimize the backwards overflow which is sure accompany these changes.
That's a good point.
It's frustrating that the people making these calculators don't state how many working individuals makes up one household. One of the problems I'm seeing in these comments is that some of us are talking about individual income, and some household/family income.
Oh, you mean if you live in one of the two highest cost-of-living areas in the country? Give me a break. 100k puts you in the top 5%. If you choose to live somewhere with an astronomical cost of living, that's fine, you might not have much after rent, but you still have the ability to live there. Most of the country couldn't even afford to.
>100-200k earners would be middle middle?
100-200k for households puts you in the top 10%. Individuals, maybe top 5%. How is that not upper class!?
I wish I was even low middle according to your scale...
