Software engineer with a focus on full-stack/backend development and AI-powered products. I've built and deployed SaaS products and developer tools using TypeScript/Next.js and Python/FastAPI, including a GitHub App for automated PR review and risk analysis, AI research tooling, and marketplace/web applications.

I'm particularly interested in early-stage startups and small engineering teams where I can take ownership of features end-to-end, work close to the product, and contribute beyond just writing tickets.

Open to full-time or contract opportunities.

I build AI-powered web products with typed, auditable backends. Open to remote contract or full-time work.

Veris — GitHub PR analysis tool that classifies risk and surfaces a structured merge recommendation with evidence. GitHub App ingests PRs via webhooks; diffs go to an LLM through OpenRouter; output is schema-validated before it's ever shown to a user, not rendered directly. Can reliably check structural consistency, but treats true intent verification (did the PR solve the actual task) as an open problem rather than faking it. MVP, live: veris-roan.vercel.app

Briefr — AI research agent, cited reports in seconds. Citations pulled from grounding metadata, not generated by the model. Live: briefr-ai.vercel.app

AppealMD — turns dental insurance denials into payer-specific appeal letters in under 30s. 3-step pipeline (classify → match rule → generate), Pydantic validation at every stage. No PHI stored. Live: getappealmd.vercel.app

I avoid abstractions I can't audit. I make product decisions, not just implementation decisions.

I build AI-powered web products with typed, auditable backends. Open to remote contract or full-time work.

Briefr — AI research agent that returns cited reports in seconds. Citations pulled directly from grounding metadata, not generated by the model. Migrated from deprecated google-generativeai to google-genai mid-build and revalidated grounding behavior. Live: briefr-ai.vercel.app

AppealMD — AI agent that turns dental insurance denials into payer-specific appeal letters in under 30 seconds. Built as 3 explicit steps (classify → match payer rule → generate) instead of one monolithic prompt. Pydantic validation on every AI output stage — if a required field is missing, the API raises immediately rather than shipping a malformed letter. No PHI stored. Live: getappealmd.vercel.app

GetDodos — Full-stack tutoring platform with Stripe, session management, and document handling. Most technically complex of the three. Live: getdodos.com

I avoid abstractions I can't audit. I make product decisions, not just implementation decisions.
