I think you are being premature, I'll wait until HN updates the site and someone posts their counter point in dance notation before deciding which medium supports actions that are easiest to communicate about.

They retire challenges that were once acceptable. What happens if they require a real chain of trust? They retire http and domain names keep working on DNS/DNSSEC.

Making IP with only http challenges is going backwards.

You say this like the Facebook gloom was wrong but I think Meta and the accumulation of other assets were an acknowledgement that fixing Facebook's decline in the important segments wasn't worthwhile.

Then it would be a grave error to issue an IP cert without active insight into BGP. (Or it doesn't matter which chain you have.. But calling a website from a sampling of locations can't be a more correct answer.)

Something about a 6 day long IP address based token brings me back to the question of why we are wasting so much time on utterly wrong TOFU authorization?

If you are supposed to have an establishable identity I think there is DNSSEC back to the registrar for a name and (I'm not quite sure what?) back to the AS.for the IP.

There's also great potential to build misattribution in. Just pause between combining the attacks from the Internet and renaming variables to watch a Dolph Lundgren movie.
Business owners turn fascist over economic anxiety. Hitler's funders were afraid they would be irrelevant in an international context.

The people have real grievances but tend to follow any *hole who has been the visible problem all along but can say the problem is that they were blocked from creating the ultimate vision of a perfect **hole.

I don't know the answer to representational democracy but I think there is something in systems like the Scandinavian judiciary where the jury is professional and competent.

A place like the US is a failure because there is a fear of setting any professional requirements on political positions. This is not irrational because the US has not dealt with its history of Jim Crow laws such that it will never happen again. The US is actually organized to make sure it happens again.

The current bubble's effect on hardware is alarming but if they think they are going to create a permanent economic manipulation they are deluded. The US' hold on controls is eroding at a faster rate and China will be making good enough all the faster if its price/spec ratio is absurdly high.

Crypto currency makers can have artificial limits but no amount of limiting gpt-next access is cutting access to good enough.
