Re:Track your workout from the iPhone Lock Screen on Thursday July 16, 2026 @10:10AM (#48934857)
I like this one: https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/fortime-workout-wod-timer/id66... Really simple and no ads
Also illegal in Denmark. You need a NemKonto by law. Also making cash payments over 15000 is illegal since 2024. So you can't make a large purchase without a bank transfer.
If you don't care about the possessions you could remove it quickly. The problem is that when you try to clean it, they want to evaluate every single item for if it should stay or not. Throwing it all in garbage bags and then in the bin takes much shorter amount of time.
Re:Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (June 2025) on Monday June 30, 2025 @05:27AM (#44421202)
I think a animation or video at the top of the homepage would do wonders for understanding what your extension does.
Re:Wheel Reinventor's Principles on Friday March 21, 2025 @10:36AM (#43436244)
It is gonna be a very bumpy ride if not all the wheel makers are in agreement.
Re:Exploring Gleam, a type-safe language on the BEAM on Tuesday June 11, 2024 @06:24AM (#40644549)
Could you possibly do this by transpiling to Gleam? Seems like the transformation is possibly simple enough that it could be done without implementing a new language.
I will say that validation layers alone are worth it. Damn they are nice, so many bugs in my code has been found by them which saved a lot of time.
That sounds like a lovely way to develop, what is your blog? So I can watch for your post.
It is in Denmark, my contract also states that I work 40 hours a week with uncompensated overtime. The only rules creating a cap on my working hours are the EU's, with 48 hours per week on average in a 4 month period.
Re:JSR: The JavaScript Registry on Friday March 01, 2024 @09:53AM (#39562310)
In the example of "@cocacola/foo" would it allow for the "@cocacola/foo" package to be updated with new versions by the new owners? Or would the foo package essentially be archived and read-only from this point on?
Here in Denmark it would be around $95 to fill your Miata. Assuming it has a 45l tank.
Re:Show HN: Heynote – A Dedicated Scratchpad for Developers on Friday December 22, 2023 @12:35PM (#38736496)
I agree that this addition would be very helpful as it is already how I take notes in a markdown document.

I think respectable papers would go out of business if they followed suit. They are usually respectable because they dont rely on a outside organisation for funding, but instead rely on creating good journalism people want to pay for.
My discover weekly used to be great, but at some point it broke and started suggesting me finnish, dutch and german music. Despite me always skipping them in the discover weekly.
Re:Idris: A Language for Type-Driven Development on Friday January 20, 2023 @03:34PM (#34459500)
The Atom implementation has been replicated in VSCode and works alright. It was good enough for me to learn how Idris worked and go through the book's exercises.
Theres also liquid or powder detergent, which allows you to use a fitting amount for the dishwasher load.
I prefer the old animation with a grey curve from the button, and I dont really see why it needed to change
The over-scroll stretch animation in Android 12 makes me sick so I had to disable animations completely, as there is no option to just disable that.

This does have the effect of making Firefox buggy and not showing the content at the top of a page before you scroll down and up again. Which only works on sites you can scroll on.

The ones I have used worked like that. They gave wonky output if you scanned something that was not a bar code.

I also used a 2D scanner and it worked the same way.

I am pretty sure not being able to choose the pieces is just a limitation of the specific library WebTorrent, not the Torrent protocol.
Re:The data are clear: The boys are not all right on Wednesday February 09, 2022 @11:37PM (#30282498)
I think they misinterpreted the statictics which they linked. According to a https://www.census.gov/newsroom/stories/single-parent-day.ht... it is 23%, assuming that the share between boys and girls is the same, which is still a lot but not 40%.
Re:Ask HN: Great Blogs by Programmers on Monday February 07, 2022 @02:39PM (#30249886)
I quite like Moments in graphics by Christoph Peters - http://momentsingraphics.de/
Why still work monday to friday then, monday to wednesday should be sufficient. There is farming to be done after all.
Afaik the resolution is lower and some audio features are not supported in most browsers. It is only Microsoft Edge on Windows and Safari on Mac that supports 4k, https://help.netflix.com/en/node/13444.
Re:My House on Wednesday September 01, 2021 @05:12PM (#28385574)
Denmark appears to be slowly allowing it as well, in june this year it became legal to live in a autocamper without an address. But you do need to then have a contact listed, whom the Department for motor vehicles can contact in your place. This contact needs a permanent address, so it doesn't entirely remove the address requirement.
Do you mean these two short films by Dima Fedotov? https://youtu.be/pyMNIFZTQkg https://youtu.be/IjJmTeBSEzU
When working six months a year how are the work months spaced out? 6 months on and 6 off? Or every other month?

It sounds like a very interesting (and appealing) way of living life.

You still have to call 1-1-2 (Danish 9-1-1) yourself, through i think the machine has a speaker and mentions it.
Re:K6: Like unit testing, for performance on Saturday November 28, 2020 @07:08AM (#25237075)
Sounds interesting. Do you have newsletter I can sign up for to get notified when it's released?
