Modern journal doesn't involve "courses".
Copying Hunter Thompson , initiating "gonzo" style, has been the rage for quite a while -- it's more fun than being honest and careful

For copying a painting, you could fake it with a 3-D printer that reproduces a depth+scanned painting and a topcoat of paint

The problem is thst people use infographics that get a lot of links, to get SEO juice for the rest of their site thst is utter garbage.
Ideally, Google wouldn't credit one part of the site that is lower quality than the other part.

Re:CPP: A Standardized Alternative to AMP
on Tuesday October 25, 2016 @06:26PM (#12792297)
You can download a custom bundle of jquery from the source. But then it won't be shared with other websites. The solution is for browsers to cache common libraries and not try to load these resources per page.
Re:CPP: A Standardized Alternative to AMP

AMP is for news pages, stuff is one page away from Search. Browsers still work to optimize the overall experience for web apps and full sites.

Re:The Clockwise/Spiral Rule of C declarations

The first red flag is that the rule says "clockwise" where there s clearly to way to distinguish clocwise from anticlockwise inside the code. Only the completely arbitrary choice of up/down direction of the drawing affects clockwiseness.
It's been 20years(!) Why is this incorrect advise still up at c-faq?

Go fixes a lot of C language design bugs, and the only cost you pay is (sometimes important) garbage collection and extreme memory layout control.

Obviously if you need a full tank you'd unplug your house from the car. But the point of the Tesla car is that, like a gas car, 30% tank is enough for
99% of the days of the year.

The political question isn't a out bailing out losers, it's about overall total economiic value. Stability is incredibly valuable, and it's even worth taxing the beneficiaries of a bail out (by taking an ownership stake) to help finance the recovery.

It's not. That's the original Keynesian analysis of the liquidity trap. Dollars have no inherent stored value, so putting them to use can improve economic productivity, even if the reason they start moving is silly.
Breaking windows is a stupid way to crate liquidity though. Better to do some debt-financed spending without destroying anything. For example, the USA's CCC and TVA, that started ending the Great Depression.
