You can literally google "X lang feature" and it gives you a date. ML/Ada have had generics since the 70s.

I get the sense that the designers have a huge amount of ego from making C what it is today.

Why should anyone care about general consumers? They're just fine being sheep as long as they're comfortable.
I'm surprised they're not disclosing the US ones.

And risk-averse businesses do already.

Yes you can, it just requires extra configuration and defeats the purpose of using v2 at all.

I mean, zip files are hardly complex. PnP is a breath of fresh air and lets you commit packages "safely" to your SCM without LFS. NPM has been experimenting in v7 with similar ideas.

I'm personally quite fond of "zero-install" setup to a repo.

Quite an ironic thread from a security company. "We don't store your password, it's our randomly generated one!"

I'm not sure why we use numerical limitations at all.. Seems weird to have such a broad statue; what makes someone "high-skilled"?

Also weird, it's already passed earlier this year (I must be missing something here): https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/hr1044

That is atrocious. I know in some communities, there is an effort to clean up beaches polluted by the world; do these places have such a program?
