This is really helpful. I usually manually do this with chrome dev tools, it’s kind of tedious especially the header and cookies handling.

It’s now ship shit but it’s the right way to do. We need to figure out how to make it ship high quality code as possible as we can. Not just give it up.

on Thursday June 26, 2025 @12:36PM (#44388985)
But on Windows you’re guaranteed that any game can be run without any extra configuration, which still is a big win. I know that proton handles most cases but it’s still frustrating when corner issue happens.
Re:I convinced HP's board to buy Palm and watched them kill it

Palm is the Xerox in mobile era. Back then, It’s obviously better than Android, which is not a complete OS in any sense of quality standard. It’s even better than iOS in many technical specifications. HP flop could be one of the worst disasters in computing history.

> For a while now, I have been working intermittently on the Wii U Linux kernel. In December, for reasons that aren’t important right now3, I turned my attention towards fixing KVM on the Wii U, but in order to fix it, I needed to figure when and why it broke, and the easiest way I could think to do that was with a PowerMac.
Got surprised by every sentence. Pure hacking for joy.

In most cases It’s not about the speed, it’s about data sharing for containers or distributed systems. Filesystem or in-memory doesn’t work. I agree that in most cases a normal database is enough though.
Re:Apple's Best Option: Decentralize iCloud
on Monday February 10, 2025 @06:21AM (#42999112)
People care more about security won’t use iCloud at the first place.
Providing a decentralized protocol probably doesn’t hurt the revenue, but increases the development cost.

Re:Why is language documentation still so terrible?

Lack of positive feedback, hard to measure the value. So people tend to invest little efforts on documentation. That’s my guess.
