I've used AI to plan entire 5 country itineraries multiple times and it's done better than I or any agent has
Re:Show HN: Free, in-browser PDF editor on Saturday March 28, 2026 @01:43PM (#47556768)
I take that back it does contribute since I realize OP's is paid and yours is FOSS
Re:Show HN: Free, in-browser PDF editor on Saturday March 28, 2026 @01:41PM (#47556754)
Bit bummed to see many posts pitching their own products (often paid) rather than give OP feedback which is the spirit of a ShowHN. There should be a blanket policy of disallowing that.
Re:Show HN: Free, in-browser PDF editor on Saturday March 28, 2026 @01:37PM (#47556710)

Re:Show HN: Free, in-browser PDF editor on Saturday March 28, 2026 @01:36PM (#47556699)
This is not related. This is self-promotion and contributes little to OP's show. Poor form..
surely, but it is a considerable concern? deflecting constructive feedback is probably not the best encouragement for others for a show HN?
"daily limit reached" on first attempt :/
Re:Facebook is cooked on Saturday February 21, 2026 @12:38PM (#47102862)
Maybe you are too young to have noticed, but this is how Facebook used to be for every one. Until some a/b testing likely led to short term engagement boosts for news content and that's all you could see - especially during the 2016 news cycle with (allegedly Russian) political ads. Then people stopped posting, and others stopped posting, feedback loop and here we are.
the astroturfing here off topic of op post is unbearable
you shouldn't use autism as a generic insult as you have here
So the govt implements rules and a panopticon for penalties. this works for the FDA, why wouldn't it for the FCC
your anecdote doesn't have much to do with the reasons presented in the article?

I'm struggling to reconcile how these connect and he has been installed as Head of AI at Uber. Reeks of being a huckster

Re:Trillions Spent and Big Software Projects Are Still Failing on Wednesday November 26, 2025 @01:09AM (#46054636)
something left out there with government though is incentive misaligned and hence corruption, which is smaller in a private scale (exists nonetheless)
The bigger blocker isn't the technology or the fleet. It's commercial viability and Luddite and populist politicians.

No crime should be described as "cool". Adherence is the foundation of a functioning society.

Re:Heretic: Automatic censorship removal for language models on Monday November 17, 2025 @12:38AM (#45951087)
There is a case to be made for the convenience of it all enabling someone in crisis. It seems some of these prompts are arguably good to keep blocked.
