2 hours after I eat lunch, what do I have to "show for it"?
I'm perfectly fine with all the hours of music and the accompanying enjoyment I've received from paying Spotify, and that doesn't start to take in to consideration the amount of new music I have easily discovered.
iPhones have been jailbroken by visiting a webpage, receiving a message, or joining a WiFi network.
Just about every single iOS release is patching a vuln that was reported or found in the wild being exploited.
So, really, is the "furthest iOS malware" concern being 3rd party tracking a genuine statement?
As someone who uses the mobile app basically every day, it is absolutely one of the things that bothers me, every single time I use it. That's not a good thing.
Hoping to get a handle on scaling my business, either through injection molding or just amassing a 3d printer farm; one new printer at a time.
Quality is subjective, but I'd put some qualifiers such as:
1. Grammar and spelling 2. Length of comment 3. Relevance to previous comment and subject matter 4. Lifetime of account 5. Posts per account
Obviously these can all be gamed, but might be interesting to see potential trends, because while it's a real trope to mention it, the quality of discourse seems to be falling off a cliff.
I keep 3 (!!) RFID tags on my wrist using my Pebble 2SE and a NATO strap, they're 100% unnoticeable and invisible aside from added functionality.
I'd love to add storage for microsd to it; especially if it doesn't impact my current method
Get one of these tiny cases printed, glue it to the inside of a NATO watch strap, or you can forgo the case and see how it holds up.
Definitely a good idea to jump start on some areas that are lacking, no matter how small the steps are they are worth taking.
Constantly hot and sweating, stomach muscles tight, and the feeling of an ever-present fear of something / anything happening.
Once I was able to attribute it to work, and address some of it, things started regulating themselves, but it took a long time; and still isn't complete.
I think it switched cause I wanted Wayland and more recent Gnome at the time. Everything more or less always seems to work without issue, I’ve done upgrades, swapped out hardware over the years and never had any show-stopping bugs.
More recently I became a package maintainer and it’s been an excellent process, from the documentation to the community. I used to be weary of RPM and the “dependency hell” but it’s not really a thing anymore.
I like picking the right tool for the job, and so far Fedora has worked out well in this regard, but Ubuntu, MacOS, Windows, etc all have their place.
Don't get me wrong, it's terrific that security patches are backported to such ancient versions of Android by those working on DivestOS and it's a great option for devices that aren't supported by GrapheneOS, LineageOS, et al.
I know it seems weird to recommend a Google phone, but one can completely eschew the issues around Google tracking, by not using Google services, or using them within the on-device sandbox giving them standard privileges.
GrapheneOS handily beats out every other project on security and technical merit -- let the code and project speak for itself, because jumping in to every single convo between end users you can find, doesn't help quell any of it.
From a GrapheneOS user for many years who thanks you for your work and dedication
If you stay out of the weeds in the community and focus on the technical aspects, you can easily get a supported device up and running with your own signing key, update server, and everything else needed.
I did for years, before switching to GrapheneOS.
It's hard to get there mentally, and you might not even want to, but either you can come around to it, leave, or stay and likely stagnate.
I've lived 10+ years in what most would call an "extreme environment" (arctic circle, often at or below -40 ambient air temp for weeks, very isolated) with few ill-effects.
There is no such thing as bad weather, only inadequate equipment (clothing).
Getting outside, if only for a 30 minute walk substantially increases my mood. We also supplement vit d, but in my personal experience, outdoor exercise is my main inhibitor.
For the cost of a brand new case ($30) and batteries, I plan to keep using them until the software fails spectacularly.
There's really nothing that compares for my usage.
"As much as racism bleeds America, we need to understand that classism is the real issue. Many of us are in the same boat and it's sinking, while these bougie motherfuckers ride on a luxury liner, and as long as we keep fighting over kicking people out of the little boat we're all in, we're gonna miss an opportunity to gain a better standard of living as a whole".
It's just static HTML deployed to CloudFlare Pages with a $9/month Shopify button, and a $2/year VPS acting as an API endpoint.
I've used Ghost, WordPress, Hugo, Pelican, etc...and would 100% go with a static site generator over a full blown CMS.
