Think this is so its easier to specify the specific product. They also say fewer refusals, so probably a tuned safety filter in front of it as well.
Re:Astra can read and write weights to improve Qwen on Monday November 02, 2026 @02:04PM (#50341898)
How out of trivial domain info does this go. Can we use this for general time series, image generation, speech synthesis as well, or dies it cap at small model sizes and common domains?
I will say I'm a bit sceptical to the general quality and probably sloppiness of this based on the 300k loc initial commit wich sets off some warning signs for me.
Allmost all the bottraffic I see is from random residential proxies though.
Its worked on, but space timelines are long. They never meant tomorrow well outcompete starlink. But that a European alternative is in progress.
Re:Furifont, a Japanese font that shows furigana on Saturday October 17, 2026 @09:45PM (#50137016)
Was thinking of exactly this one as well.
No it implies that å ps5 hardware wise wouldnt be ordets of magnitude of å bc250 to produce, and it therefore probably dosent have negative margins at least.
The client is definetly terrible. Slow to start. I have frikkin 2 different topbars that seemingly have similar options. Way to many locations for settings, spammy store page. Hard to navigate game library. The fact that the store page often is a better look at the game than the one in the library. Impossible to see what dlcs that is enabled unless you happen to borrow the game from someone in your family. Why van games corrupt and un and reinstalling is the only fix (verifying does sometimes not catch it).

I could go on. Its still the only store with acceptable linux experience sadly.

If openscad is the thing Google models has consistently outpermormed the comparable competition in my experiences. Few other models has better physical spatial reasoning skills.

But, binary is not the preferred form.

Also if compiling literary costs millions of dollars, I would prefer the precompiled one.

Re:Show HN: Germany's new sovereign AI model Kolibri on Saturday October 03, 2026 @07:02PM (#49948628)
LLMs can be configured to basically be deterministic. It's only really bad for performance because language is not deterministic.
Re:OKI Develops 124-Layer PCB Technology on Saturday October 03, 2026 @06:08AM (#49942874)
Wouldn't this just be a mess signal integrity wise?
Cheaper per ride over the month usually.
Re:One month coding with GLM 5.3 Flash on Friday October 02, 2026 @06:48PM (#49939555)
If the market would be fully efficient how would it be possible to make money in the market? I font think the market is that fast at rebalancing.
Re:One month coding with GLM 5.3 Flash on Friday October 02, 2026 @03:22PM (#49937431)
Will agree on this. From z.ai i have found the non flash to have way more consistent performance.
Re:One month coding with GLM 5.3 Flash on Friday October 02, 2026 @03:21PM (#49937415)
When text wuality or for pure but adwansed coding is concerned i always pick glm 5.3. The flash is awesome for everything that dosent really matter though.
Yes and no. I tested llamacpp on my intel gpu with both vulkan and sycl. I measured them to be in the same ballpark even if i have se en pepole claim marger differences than i observed.

In the end i took the sligth slowdown of vulkan to have a more stable and higher development velocity backend While being able to use identical setups on both intel and and gpus.

Re:Raspberry Pi blocks changing RAM chips on Monday September 21, 2026 @02:08PM (#49790995)
Its a closed broadcom chip. Basically futile or heavily resource intensive to try.
Theh will probably consolidate more. Less choices even if they are worse is also easier for llms to do. Just look at how they pick technologies to use. Almost always the same for a given model.
