Re:Tao: Open math problems being non-renewably mined by AI on Wednesday September 09, 2026 @12:35PM (#49629238)
You pick your axioms and you see what must be true. With math and logic, we can reason about any possible universe even though we live in only one of them.

Have we asked AI to create new interesting math problems? XD

Re:Claude Is Down on Wednesday July 29, 2026 @04:11PM (#49102399)
It's cached until the "/clear will save you 500k tokens" right? Claude caches for 1hr, codex for 5hrs?

Anything else I'm missing?

Adblocker for chatgpt in 3, 2, 1...
> 500m

500ft is taller than the max ever, not 1640 ft

I changed my macos system password and haven't been able to log into the macos chatgpt app since. It cant save the auth to wherever it tries. So bad.

Yes it works exactly like that. Beware
Re:I resigned from OpenAI on Saturday March 07, 2026 @10:08PM (#47293995)
The only thing that can stop a bad ai with a guy is a good ai with a gun.
Re:OpenAI – How to delete your account on Saturday February 28, 2026 @09:15AM (#47195634)
ok but consider my mom asked me yesterday, "have you heard of claude?"
Re:NanoClaw Moved from Apple Containers to Docker on Sunday February 22, 2026 @04:04PM (#47114650)
apple container is really buggy with networking
Re:First Proof on Saturday February 07, 2026 @04:25PM (#46928238)
Tried all ten with claude, then had codex take a loook at the work -- codex thinks number 7 has the lowest chance of being correct, a 1 out of 10 rating. None of them were higher than 7/10 chance of being right so far as done by claude opus 4.6 and evaluated by codex 5.3 highest.

Not going to spend too many more tokens on this.

Re:We tasked Opus 4.6 using agent teams to build a C Compiler on Thursday February 05, 2026 @02:28PM (#46903914)
There's a terrible bug where once it compacts then it sometimes pulls in .o or binary files and immediately fills your entire context. Then it compacts again...10m and your token budget is gone for the 5 hour period. edit: hooks that prevent it from reading binary files can't prevent this.

Please fix.. :)

Re:Anthropic acquires Bun on Tuesday December 02, 2025 @01:52PM (#46124953)
I had memory leaks in bun and not in deno or node for the same code. ymmv

Re:62 chapter open-source Zig book on Sunday November 16, 2025 @07:00PM (#45949675)
Did they actually spend a bunch of time and effort though? I think you could get an llm to generate the entire thing, website and all.

Check out the sleek looking terminal--there's no ls, cd, it's just an ai hallucination.

Is that a dare? /s

Small price to pay for escaping python dependency hell.

Re:Uv overtakes pip in CI (for Wagtail users) on Monday October 13, 2025 @08:09PM (#45574757)
I dunno, 2020? Since then I switched to mamba, then poetry, and now uv. I have spent way too much time fighting python's package managers and with uv I finally don't have to. ymmv
Re:Uv overtakes pip in CI (for Wagtail users) on Monday October 13, 2025 @07:50PM (#45574619)
You've never waited 10 minutes for conda to solve your environment and then say it's unsolvable?
