Re:No, it doesn't cost Anthropic $5k per Claude Code user on Tuesday March 10, 2026 @08:00AM (#47322054)
This is not a valid argument. TPS is essentially QoS and can be adjusted; more GPUs allocated will result in higher speed.
Re:No, it doesn't cost Anthropic $5k per Claude Code user on Tuesday March 10, 2026 @07:59AM (#47322047)
Actually, Opus might achieve a lower cost with the help of TPUs.
Re:I/O is no longer the bottleneck? (2022) on Tuesday January 06, 2026 @02:03AM (#46509513)
The memory wall is an eternal problem when performing computations on the CPU
other filesystems are just as susceptible to data corruption from memory errors. this is not a weakness unique to ZFS.
Re:Memory Subsystem Optimizations on Friday January 02, 2026 @03:08AM (#46462545)
While this guide covers roughly 80% of the material, it remains a high-level overview that lacks depth. I can't confirm if it was LLM-generated, but the content is undeniably superficial. Real-world production environments are far more complex; for instance, despite other users mentioning hugepages and TLB, there is no discussion of critical issues like TLB shootdown.
The reason is that you are not a Computer Science PhD. But soft skills (such as storytelling, sense of ownership, etc.) can still be passed down
same for chinese students

Re:Ask HN: I don't want to code anymore. What else can I do? on Tuesday December 03, 2024 @09:14PM (#42313900)
First, you need to identify and quantify your skills and strengths.

Too many GitHub repositories can integrate GPT into smart speakers.

Re:Is Tor still safe to use? on Friday September 20, 2024 @05:59AM (#41600390)
A safer approach is to treat Tor only as a special obfuscation method.

Besides technical details, in a normal usage scenario, the context length is also much greater than the generation length.
Re:Scramble: Open-Source Alternative to Grammarly on Wednesday September 18, 2024 @11:09AM (#41580692)
One strong point of Grammarly comes from its friendly display of diffs (which is somewhat similar to what Cursor does). This project simply uses some predefined prompts to generate text and then replaces it. There are countless plugins that can achieve this, such as the OpenAI translator.

If this tool really wants to compete with Grammarly.
