It's still the standard Apple mouse, no? Why wouldn't they include it in the promo photos?

No.
Re:Apple broke an essential presentation feature of iPads on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @12:58PM (#50169323)
That's because back then, they weren't releasing major new versions every year.

Snow Leopard had time to mature. These days with their yearly release cycles, the OS doesn't have time to mature anymore. Right when they get done fixing most of the problems, the next version comes out and everything is broken all over again. And they repeat this cycle year after year. It makes no sense.

By killing Google Reader they essentially killed RSS. Yes, I know there are other clients some of us still use, but Google's was the biggest and most popular.

Marginally better? What kind of queries are you giving it? It's obviously not as capable as GPT, etc, but it's leaps and bounds better than the old Siri. There's no question about that.
Re:Nebula Sans on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @04:54PM (#49455767)
Then this PR stunt worked I suppose. I still see no need to create yet another derivative sans-serif typeface. Especially for an online streaming service of all things.
Re:Nebula Sans on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @04:46PM (#49455659)
Explain.
Re:Nebula Sans on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @02:29PM (#49453631)
No. You know that's not what I'm saying. There are many other very respectable typefaces available that they could have used. This one, while it may be custom made, *looks* generic. If I never saw this post, I would have zero clue they made it in-house. This is a PR stunt to get attention on sites like this.
Re:Nebula Sans on Wednesday August 26, 2026 @11:22AM (#49450775)
Waste of time and money on their part. There are more than enough typefaces in this world that look just like this one.
Re:Pixel 11 Pro Fold feels like the end of an era on Wednesday August 19, 2026 @04:39PM (#49366925)
Sadly, I can't read this article due to the hard paywall. Is The Verge actively trying to shrink their readership? Why would I want to subscribe to yet another monthly subscription if I can't even get a taste of what this one is offering?
Re:AI is making me dumb on Thursday May 14, 2026 @03:56PM (#48140372)
We need to separate our emotions from these things. I understand why people don't like AI, or are fearful of it, but we need to have good faith arguments about it. Not this. These articles are just cope.

According to what I've heard, IKEA rechargeables are rebranded eneloops.
Re:Apple buys Israeli startup Q.ai as the AI race heats up on Friday January 30, 2026 @10:18AM (#46825403)
It's not used in new products.
Re:Apple buys Israeli startup Q.ai as the AI race heats up on Thursday January 29, 2026 @05:46PM (#46817921)
Apple dropped the "i" naming scheme many years ago.
Re:Pixel 10 Phones on Wednesday August 20, 2025 @03:39PM (#44965546)
These are all extremely minor issues. 2 and 3 are not even relevant to 99% of normal users. Very few people want to spend time manually organizing photos like that, and albums do essentially the same thing. The wobbling thing is a non-issue. It doesn't even wobble unless you're pounding down on the phone on a table.
Re:Tracking down a mysterious skateboarder from 1979 on Tuesday November 05, 2024 @05:58PM (#42055948)
I have no data to back it up, but I believe HN saw a huge number of redditors moving here after the user protests a year or two ago.
That's true but infants are far smaller than adults. It takes a lot less (of anything) to have an effect on an infant.
