although probably not recent and cyberpunk enough - but since they are one of those sci-fi books you should not leave untouched - i through in the hyperion cantos by dan simmons.

i'm really interested what german sci-fi you came across.

to add my an 50 cent... i hacked together a tool that does not rely on xclip or pbcopy https://github.com/grafoo/netsel you'd start it on your x11 machine and remote forward the tcp port to the remote hosts.

delicious was awesome, very sad story that it didn't work out for them. right now i'm pretty happy with my self baked solution, though reading pinboards about features it sounds interesting. thanks for the recommendation.

the thing that always bugs me is how to use bookmarks when working with multiple browsers. the various bookmark service platforms never fully scratched the one itch i was feeling => simply save a bookmark and let me add some tags to it.

right now the only browser based bookmark i'm having is a bookmarklet that takes me to my own bookmark store ( see https://github.com/grafoo/webdmp if you're interested.)
