Re:Why Were Victorian Elites So Effective? on Thursday October 08, 2026 @12:34AM (#50001841)
this is in part due to the structure of the japanese economy and it's businesses. Businesses hire for life, encourage their employees to experiment, and dip their hands into as many parts of the economy as possible. Compare to America where companies hire and fire at will and build their entire value proposition around specialized products. Only the biggest companies generalize, and even then, within their niche.

Least sketchy? Haveno[2] is one of the exchanges that the getmonero.org site recommends. However, the platform with the most "institutional support" (if that's what you meant by least sketchy) that allows you to buy XMR is probably Kraken[2], but IIRC they have KYC that takes a few days before you can buy.

Testosterone has not fallen. That idea is mainly a result of bad sampling and incomparable measurements. See: https://xcancel.com/cremieuxrecueil/status/19804871302092350...

>Hard to take this nonsense seriously. Northwest europe was christian and there are plenty of examples of non-monogamous marriages in the bible. The bible doesn't describe hajnali[1] marriage patterns. It describes middle eastern marriage patterns. Even still, the non-monogamous marriages in the bible are oft depicted as sinful.
